My dream is they play the Colts in Indy

    DREAM

everyone will bet them and when everyone is on one team you know what always happens

they did what the ALWAYS do

held the opposing team to under 150 yard passing..... if you want to beat the Jets you gotta run, run, run, run and run some more....

cincy ran great.... but its tough to come from behind even with a great run game

They still can't compete with the other 4 playoff teams in the AFC.

JJ what's the vibe in the West Coast? Are the patrons in Ceasar Palace celebrating the Jets win? Can you take a picture of someone wearing a Jets jersey and post it here?

Yeah nothing scarier than a football team that doesn't play football well. Jets will get crushed next week.

A couple of things that concern me about the Jets despite the win.

    1) They won't get lucky with opposing kickers missing 2 easy FG's again.
    2) Punting needs to be straightened out. Feely did a respectable job in an emergency, but they're not good enough to beat elite teams if they net 30 yards on punts.
    3) They don't trust Sanchez to throw, Didn't really attempt a 2 minute drill at the end of the 1st half with the ball at their 40 and 3 timeouts. Several other times they ran on 3rd and 6 or 7. If you can't trust your QB to pass in passing situations, you can't beat SD or Indy.
    4) Defense definitely needs to improve against the run. Way too many big rushes given up.

It's a nice win, but they will get crushed if they play like that next week.

funny how you betted on the Bengals smells fishy

Hope they play the Colts and knock the Colts out of the playoffs. Would be fitting to see this since the Colts threw the game and let the Jets in. Just like the Bengals laying down in their last game against the Jets and now they just sent the Bengals home for the offseason.

I totally agree. Sick of people treating the Jets like shit.

It will be very interesting next week. Indy will be 8 point favorite.

That's what I was thinking -7 1/2. I'll be all over the Jets. I think they can at least cover it.

Jets have nothing to lose, when they don't turn the ball over they are in every game

Good write up. I do think their defense is fine despite giving up a few big runs. The problem is at QB. He is not clutch yet. It was a great season but I do believe this is the end of the road.

I thought that they would win today but wasn't too confident in it. I think they're done next week BUT will be competitive!

JJ...and the Bengals played better? I dont think we watched the same game but you are right...the Jets didnt play that well....they left 10 points on the field with a missed FG and a dropped TD by Edwards. They should have won this game by 20, on the road.

The Jets ran the ball effectively, they were 12-15 passing the ball and they had the edge in time of posession. They didnt play well? The only area they were deficient in was the penalties. Not sure i understand how they didnt play well.

Read the stats and tell me how they didnt play well. You just were on the wrong side of the game.

Jets did a great job again running the ball and not making costly mistakes. The only thing that worries me if we play the Colts they will get lots of illegal contact and pass interference calls against the Jets. It seems from the watching the game today anytime a receiver wants a flag he gets one or the crowd. GO JETS

I will really laugh if they can play Indy and beat Indy, But IMO, Manning will school Reevis. He was doing it in the 15th game, but the Colts backed off.

Jets didn't play well? Sanchez had the game of his career. So did Greene. Indy and the Chargers are sitting at home rooting to play this team.

    Sanchez= disaster in waiting.

Jets won and will continue to win it all, for the memory of Woody's daughter who just passed away.

ztballer, you have no clue. I will bet whatever you want that they don't win it all. I will give you 25-1 on anything you want. They were 40-1 but they won a game so 25-1 are fair odds. Anything you want, cash, points, hamburgers, anything.

Imagine the Jets with a stud QB, Rodgers, Manning Brees etc would be scary. I LOLd at Sanchez imitating Carrol's speech about how he shouldn't go pro btw instaclassic.

Manning was pulled because game was an early fuukin war and Indy wanted no 4 qtr battle with them.

Jets played them even when Manning left.

Jets played better than I thought they could. I do see them being a tough out the rest of the way with that D and run game.

The key was Sanchez making just enough plays. He still needs some work and Braylon needs to catch those easy TDs. lol

Congrats to the Jets backers. Not only did they play better than I thought they could, but the Bengals choked worse too.

They have two very very tough and strong runners and might just pound it down Indy or SD's throats and control the clock..
