Default Battle of the USC quarterbacks!

Gotta go with the more polished, experienced, and tested Palmer over interception friendly Sanchez. Call me a square, but I think Cincy -2.5 is the play. Throw cincys last game out the window. They had nothing to play for, no motivtion, no need to make crazy cuts and slants and lose a player (Ex. Wes welker). Defense will be ready to shut the running game down and force Sanpick to have to beat em thru the air, which I don't think he can. Ur thoughts ?

Well I think Flacco won a playoff game as a rookie...how many other rookies have won a playoff game in last twenty years... This may not be a good sign for Sanchez...but who knows...its the playoffs...hopefully we see all these teams taking it to another level... If sanchez does win a game might be a great time to load up against him in next round.

Yes, jets running game is awesome, but also look at Cedric Benson who ran over 1200 yards and is welllllll rested. If Cincy takes early lead, I think they will stack the box and force Sanchez to make some pressure plays. Does he have it in em?

Just an opinion...but has Sanchez been under any consistent real defensive pressure over the last two games? If not, how prepared can this rookie QB be?

I had to look up USC QB playoff wins in the database. The last playoff win was Rodney Peete with the Eagles over the Lions w/ Don Majkowski & Scott Mitchell in 1995. Lots of USC NFL QBs winless in the playoffs. Gotta go back to Pat Haden of the '70's to get another USC QB playoff victory.

everybodys talking about sanchez because of the 20 picks like he doesnt have 12 TDs hes solid when he doesnt try to force things they really need to set up the play action trust me paco hes solid people talk about carson palmer like hes a elite QB maybe im seeing the wrong stats or something guy has 13 picks his damn self. I like the jets o-line, i like brad smith in the wildcat watch for him to pass this week, i really really like the jets defense... I really like this teaser jets +9.5 over 26.5 just my opinion sanchez might have another 5 pick game who knows.

I think he will ... it sounds crazy paco but i trust sanchez as a rookie over palmer as a 7 year vet. not like palmer makes solid decisions all the time now hes going up against a very good jets defense, Hes not the brightest in the box if you know what im saying.

Right with ya. Sanchez winning a playoff game? Too many people listening to the hot air coming out of Rex Ryan's piehole. Cincy is the play.

I like the NY Jets here because their defense will keep them in the game and they will give them the chance to win this game today. The only problem is how will Sanchez play today. If he throws a bunch of picks they are trouble. I think the key to the Jets is the turnovers in this game and make Cincinnati go long fields to score and the Jets will be alright. It just depends on how the rookie QB plays here. Even though after this many games you cannot say he is a rookie anymore considering he has played over 15 games now.

    Wow.

    Great research dude.

They will mention it at some time during the game of course but interesting to know that Mark Sanchez's dad took his boy to a football field...I suppose the one nearest to where they lived but maybe not....to show his son Football, how to play QB in particular, and the dude playing QB on that highschool football field was.....

    Carson Palmer.

    True story.
