What I mean is do you take their money or vice versa? I d like to brag and say I clean house, blah, blah...But no, the past few years havent been profitable. I have a nasty habit of chasing, DOH!!
The only sport I can make money is the NFL. And well they are only going a couple of nights during the week, so I lose my profits on NBA and NHL..damn damn..
Tried baseball again, and got hammered. So i have been playing with mock units, until I show some consistency. I had 12 pretend units on Tuesday, now I have 24 units. Isnt that how it goes?
Well, I can relate to the chasing. It seems after a bad beat I tend to chase as well.
I do best on NHL games, I usually start playing small wagers (ie a $40 two team parlay that pays $120 or so if it hits) I also like to make the odd big bet ( for me) this season I made two:
$2500 San Jose + 120 @ Calgary reg season that lost.
$7500 Ottawa +130 to beat Buffalo game 1 in playoffs - Won.
I have made a number of $200 - $500 wagers that have won and lost throughout the season. NFL I don't touch as I know nothing about football and don't like the game at all. I make small plays on baseball and NBA sometimes, I focus on the local teams, Jays & Raptors as I can get the most info on them and they are televised.
In the winter I get the NHL Centre Ice package and its hockey most nights.
