    Default The Loshak Show 1/7/10

SBR.tv debuts "The Loshak Show", a roundup of the goings-on in the SBR community, featuring a snazzy new set and live interviews.

In the first episode this week, Loshak chats with SBR's Shannon about having to shave his stache, introduces a new video chick, and addresses recent forum drama concerning the N-word.

Notable highlights include an impression of the poster Nicky Santoro and suggestions for cool N-word posting replacements.

Katy should be a great addition. Hot with Brains and some gambling industry background... I think we will have many guys making videos for her.... like JJ and Onner's videos for "Pistons Fan"

How do people from Belorussia end up managing books in Costa Rica? That is my birthplace too.

I thought Arron had black hair?? Did he dye his hair blonde??

He has an accent also, must be from Europe.

He could be a top 15 as far as looks is concentrated.

    Hi Wal,

The "Loshak Show" is an idea that Peter had when we first hired him back in the fall of 2007. Considering the amount of time he and his team spend on the rest of the videos they produce, the inaugural episode kept getting pushed down the priority list. It's taken until now to finally complete an episode so i can understand how you may think your idea got hijacked. The reality is that this has been on the drawing board since at least a year before you joined the site. If you've got any suggestions of the sort of content you'd like to see from Peter Loshak and SBR.TV please forward them to either myself or Pete and we'll certainly credit you for anything that gets used.

    Best regards,

    Shannon

Loshack, perhaps adjust the camera angle so that your massive bald spot doesn't keep peeking out and causing a glare. just a thought.

Shannon, I was being sarcastic. However the explination given here does tend to look very Hollywoodesque. It is always very convenient that things are always on the backburner till someone else does it and then, "oh no, this was in the works for ages" always seems to be the response.

Loshak is talent and I can fully beleive he has had designs on furthering his career in the past. It is amazingly ironic though that the time to finally get around to doing his vision comes on the heels of the success of the cartoons. I guess that is why the few get to be successes in life while the masses meddle around in mediocricy.

The Loshak Show is good and obviously a cartoon (especially a very limited and robotic sounding) could never be as funny as the real source but at least give me some respect for not being a complete moran and not seeing how the timing of all this is so suspicious.

SBR owns the rights to what is theirs and Peter Loshak is SBR property and I did use his likeness to create/mold my version of SBR Live, I fully admit that. I also recognize that SBR can not afford to have his show fly in posters for real interviews so my cartoon can still hold it's own in that regard. I am not really bitter just clearly a little cynical to the timing of it all. I hope SBR puts forth the effort into their version to make it a success that it has the potential of being.

You can always compete with him Wally. You do your cartoons and let him do his show. That's how it works in real life. There is the Jay Leno Show and The David Letterman Show. Competition brings out the best for the viewers pleasure.

    Hi Wal,

I agree completely with many of your comments, particularly concerning Peter's talent. As touched on briefly, our original video product has been understaffed and overworked since it's inception. One of our goals for the upcoming year is higher production quality, more diverse programming, and the showcasing of Peter's unique gifts. Towards those ends we have contracted consultants to streamline the production process, made major purchases in both hardware and software, and hired additional staff to free Peter up to do what we think he does best. We hope that our commitment to these ideas is rewarded with higher quality video with broader appeal that is less time-consuming to produce.

For the record, I am a huge fan of your videos (is that the correct term?) and find them to be very clever and thoughtfully made. I also like the idea of flying in a poster to make a guest apearance on "The Loshak Show", maybe we can partner SBR.tv up with SBRPicks and have a grand-prize trip down to CR.

    Best regards,

    Shannon

Loshak, I'm gonna call you Kojack from now on. All of that hair and that bushy, Dirty Sanchez mustache doesn't go with that huge bald spot you have. At least do a comb-over or get some of that spray paint stuff and fill it in. Plus, that segment on the N-word was terrible. That's 3 or 4 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.
