I think I may get why he did this. Ole Miss was going to can his ass next year anyway for that new kid. Another yea of Snead without Mccluster = no chance an NFL team will make a mistake on thinking he has talent. His arm angle and throwing off his back foot his WHOLE football career is reason enough for the CFL to pass him up.

After Clausen and Bradford, there really isn't much quality QB's in this draft. Especially with Locker and Mallett returning to school next season. You have Tebow and McCoy who will go somewhere in the 2nd-3rd rounds, and then the next best options are the likes of Tony Pike, Dan LeFevour, Tim Hiller, etc. With good workouts, Snead could go off the board somewhere in the 3rd-4th rounds as the #5-8 QB in this draft.

Really like this decision to cash in with the NFL's CBA expiring and a rookie salary cap looming. Plus with McCluster and Hodge departing, it's not like he would improve his stock should he return to Ole Miss.
