Default Horray! I got my tickets for the NFL at Wembly!!

I'm not going to go and watch the stupid egg chasers though, cant stand the game, I'm going to scalp them out on Ebay

    http://www.nfluk.com/news-display.php?id=2444
Tickets for the NFL regular season game at Wembley between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants will go on sale on May 16 to the lucky ones among those who have registered to buy seats for the historic occasion.

Within 72 hours of the NFL announcing the first competitive game to be played outside of North America, nfluk.com received requests for more than half a million tickets to its special registration site.

Next week, an email will be sent out to registrants, confirming details of the on-sale date and procedure.

Prior to May 16, the first group of registrants to get lucky in the lottery for tickets will receive a further email giving them details of the next steps they have to take. Notification will include details on pricing and how many tickets individual applicants are able to buy.

Alistair Kirkwood, managing director of NFL UK, explained: “It is taking time for us to move this process forward, partly because we want everything to run as smoothly as possible. Beyond the May 16 offer there will be further opportunities to buy tickets so don’t despair if you are not among the first group to be given the chance to purchase.”

Im guessing you are a broke ass UK bettor that has no money or any sort of life left whatsoever but to bring up crap talk like exchange rate and egg bowl? Read the ****ing article properly Jamie United Ouyster. Its gonna be a sell out whether you like it or not. So stop wasting your time and the time of other valuable posters at SBR. I didnt know until just know that losing so many $20 bets would make a Brit go retarded. Maybe you should seek the Queens help.

I am Jamie, arber extraordinare, but even if I was a "broke ass" UK bettor (as you so elequantly put it) I would be happier than being a "no ass" bettor, who is practically banned by his goverment from any worthwhile company to wager with, so stick that in your crack pipe and smoke it big boy.

Maybe there are some intelligent people left in Europe who know a real sport when they see it.

You should be very grateful that the Dolphins and the Giants are willing to take time out of their busy schedules to visit the hell hole the world calls Europe. Please keep in mind, these players are real athletes, not the fairies you see running around the field for Manchester United.

I'm just excited that you guys get to watch a real sport for a change...

I really hope you're not dumb enough to imply that there's more contact in soccer than there is in football.

Soccer was invented for the kids that couldn't make the football team...

Soccer predates what you call "football" by at least 50 years.

Soccer does suck, I just hate watching it. I would compare soccer to basketball, just because football and soccer have the same name they are always being compared. They are not similar in any way. I feel they should elimate the kicking portion of the American football game altogether.

Now basketball is a sport that requires more athleticism and talent than soccer. Bottom line.

Baseball and basketball are the greatest games on Earth in my opinion and American football is right behind. The only thing worthless about american football is you have to be in high school or college to participate. Where as there is oppurtunity to compete in basketball and baseball at all times in life.

I would say the first line explains the clear bias in your second ;-)

I certainly understand why Yanks dont like Football

Its a complex game that involves patience, understanding, skill and extreme fine tuning. Defiantly not a sport for yanks.

American football is simply a bastardisation of Rugby (see below)
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    Jump to: navigation, search

American football is the most popular spectator sport in the United States. It is directly descended from rugby football, and both games have their origin in varieties of football played in the United Kingdom in the mid-19th century, in which a ball is kicked at a goal and/or or carried over a line.

Rubgy is a complex and tough game, it was changed by yanks, made softer and easier to understand , in fact dumbed down for the useless eaters that enjoy it.

Just asking. Any thoughts on the UK Super Bowl this Saturday? Will the worldwide TV audience approach the USA Super Bowl audience ?

It's hardly the "UK Superbowl", teams prioritise European Competition and the domestic league above the FA Cup these days.

Let me add a little something. These boys don't realize that our grandfathers saved there asses from an ass kicking. They were months, if not weeks away from being Hitler's little bitches. Both London and France were getting lit up like Christmas trees. We should hear nothing from yours mouths but thank you sir.....and the way it looks now across the pond your gonna be kneeling in front of allah sometime in the next 50 years.

Hey UK idiot, if Americans hate strategy, how do you explain baseball being america's pastime fool? That game is nothing but subtleties and strategy. Why isnt it the UK's passtime then? The UK sucks.

I always said this arguement was an easy one... Soccer is no doubt older then football and the primative version of it...
The first major point is just because most of the world likes soccer over football does NOT mean soccer is better let's get that very clear... Most of the people in the world are stupid and soccer is nice and simple to play and understand....
There is not very much to soccer at all and as far as an offense or defense running plays... It's comparable to basketball or even hockey.... Football for those of us that know it well (I played and coached for 12 years total) know the play books are as thick as the Bible... The preparation takes MUCH longer because it's MUCH more complex... NO SPORT compares to Football as far as how closely related it is to CHESS from both a coaches and a players perspective...

Jamie don't bother learning it to a higher level because it's too complicated for you... As far as the photo of the linemen with the gut... I notice it's not a major college or pro team and looks like a HS team ...as if every soccer player at every level is in amazing shape... please give me a break...

Fat men on steroids playing a dumbed down version of Cricket.

I suppose it also has surpassed both of your brain cells that baseball originated in the UK?

If you can read and well as type, here is a link for you.

It has already been historically recorded that the War in Europe was won by the very late stage which the Yanks got involved, the Russians would have beaten the Germans anyway you muppet.

Your a funny guy, = throw ball ,chase ball , repeat and then swap. The end.

You are impossible to reason with, I guess you are right, all you do in football is chase a ball and baseball is inferior to cricket. Kill yourself, or move to Pakistan and play cricket.

They guy is either just stupid or does this to f*ck with everyone.... You know by how he and others reply when they are wrong... I mentioned that football is the ADVANCED version of soccer or we'll even say rugby and his reply is "chase the football, throw the football, " and he should add catch the football, and kick the football but he's not use to all those options because you see guys in soccer you can only "KICK THE BALL.." yeah that's it and if you toch it with your hands and not a goalie it's against the rules... That's why their legs are big but my rooster is thicker then most soccer players upper body...

AmeriKKKan sports are dumbed down versions of more complex sports, simplified for a clod headed hot "dawg" eating audience without the attention span to appreciate real sports. This opinion is not only mine, its a generally accepted and historically proven opinion as has been shown
