Seems like a great price for SD backers.

It sorta depends on what kind of odds you think you can get from SD, week by week, betting the ML. (Who will SD play?)
For example, I think SD will be -200 against whoever next week, I might be wrong. Then maybe +100 going into Indy? Then maybe -150 if they play the Saints? I ran these through the SBR parlay calculator and it seems like the break-even mark. If you think you can get better odds than these going forward then it's probably better to wait and play the ML as it comes.
Some things that can factor into this is if you think Indy will get upset, then SD will face an "easier" team, probably laying odds since they'll be at home. This is where the future play makes hay, because you're getting much better odds than the break even odds above. Same deal if some "lesser" team comes out of the NFC. I'd also say if the Ravens beat the Pats, giving SD Cincy or NYJ, then it also works out favorably.
So, in conclusion, take this future bet if you like a lot of upsets which benefit SD along the way. But if you like the favs to churn along, like the Pats, Indy & Saints/Vikings, then you might get better value betting week by week.

I think the price is a little too low. San diego has already "topped their form" and therefore they are due for a letdown. I would rather take a team that has been sleepwalking trough season.

Pittsburgh, Giants. Oh wait, they aren't in the playoffs.
I have no idea what this guy is talking about.
Maybe he means like the Cardinals last year, going 2-4 to finish the regular season.
So, maybe he likes the Bengals this year. They finished 1-3 to limp into the playoffs.

18-1 is horrible odds when they won't be favored in one single game. Even if you could assume that they were even money in each of 4 games, the true odds are 15-1. But we know they'll be dogs the whole way, decent dogs in some games. What I'm saying, it's better value to bet them along the way, taking the juicy dog lines rather than wasting money on this terrible value future.
I know you say they "could" get to be favored if Philly ran through a couple unlikely upsets, but if that's the case, bet the hell out of Philly too at an awesome dog price.

I call this week even money. I'm not going to quibble until it crosses the 3.
If the Pack travel to Minny or N.O. they will be a real dog, unlike this week. Same deal if they travel to Minny/N.O./Dallas if they get that far. Now, if they face SD, Indy or NE in the SB, do you seriously think they'll be less than a legitimate dog? Seriously? I know this is conjecture because lots of stuff has to happen for them to get there, but I don't know what you are smoking LT. You are usually a real sharp guy.
