Thumbs up In my opinion, it is a laughing matter! NY Jets at Indy Colts AFC Div playoff round?

If the NY Jets should the win their wild card game next week and then visit Indy, I think it would be a fantastic laughing justice for the Jets to go into Indy and Beat them again after the Colts gave the Jets their free ticket into the NFL Playoffs.

I am a Colt fan, but sometime things just happen that are worth a good laugh even at your teams expense.

    Whatcha' think my friends?

    Good evening

I hear ya BettorPlom. Also, on a side note, wasn't the Bills a wager today that was the mother of all predictable winning wagers? What easy pikins' that seemed. I didn't make a pick, but it should have been a big time money maker today for many bettors except maybe those Colt homers who bet them weekly no matter what.

I'm ready to enjoy my favorite sport of all, the NFL Playoffs. College football is my second choice over all else.

Best of luck, everyone, esp. the fans whose teams made the playoffs. Congrats.

Bills came through for me. In all honesty I didn't come up with the play myself but follwed the advice of a certain SBR poster that made some astute observations regarding previous years week 17 games.

It was because of this poster that I went 4-0 today.

I was thinking the very same thing, General... How ironic it would be... what amazing poetic justice it would be... for the Colts to draw the same Jets they LET IN THE DOOR in that horrible decision -- and then get BOUNCED by them?!?!

I don't really think the Jets would win that game, but Man, would that ever be something.

The real irony would be for the Jet's to beat Cincy AND the Colts... Both teams that let the Jet's walk into the playoffs. Now that would be justice.

Tremendous job and a big congratulations on a nice day. I didn't bet on it, but did suggest it to several of the guys I speak with daily. A couple cashed a ticket so I'm happy for them.

Hi Capybara. Hope you had a great holiday season and best wishes for a nice 2010. I find it hard to think the Jets could beat them also in this scenario. The Colts would have some extra motivation in that case to try very hard NOT to get beat for the reasons we're mentioning. Colts would be a double digit favorite wouldn't they?

I'm a little surprised at the 2½-3 point spread I see currently.

Being in Cincy it's pretty much a pick em'. Probably whoever runs the ball best wins this match-up. Lot of nervous pressure on Sanchez I would think, but he's beyond a rookie now with a season under his belt. Forecast looks to be about 10° and mostly cloudy for Saturday on the 10-day look. Under 34½ looks good to me right now.

Wes Welker out is Huge for New England IMO and I was shocked that Dallas just pounded esp shut out Philly. 14° and sunny in New England a 4 point fav. I like Baltimore here.

Can't wait for the playoff action.

    Off the top for me...

Cincy under - Lot of running and weather factor.

Baltimore - No Welker and Pats haven't had a shining season anyhow.

Philly - Oakland beat up on them as well, but they bounced back strong.

Green Bay - Rodgers is the man and can run with Warner plus the D is ok. Good match up.

    Subject to change of course.

You see the NFL has no control over what team assumes the fetal position but they are working on it right now N.F.L. Roundup Committee Could Rule on Resting of Starters
    NFL Handicapping
as we speak because with the circus fake ass no showing integrity colt"s & Patriots made it obvious to the majority and also awoke the sleeping giant and do you know who that sleeping giant is??? It's called STEELER NATION AND IT IS ABOUT TO TAKE A BIG CHUNK OUT OF THE NFL'S ASS'S REVENUE!!!!! if nothing is done about it.

general, the jets won't make it to indy.

cincy will be -3.5 by gametime, go ahead and grab that -2.5 now.

my picks right now look like bengals, cardinals, and ravens. and no way i'm touching eagles/cowboys.

I see no way that the rules can be changed so that teams cannot sit players when they wish. Can anyone explain how this 'sitting players' can be changed in anyway?

If the NFL starts losing popularity which = loss of revenue because of loss of integrity trust me it will happen
but the real Question here is: Is the public smart enough to figure it out and that would be no how do I know this look at our government

Jets defense is tough and I am not sold on Cincy currently. Tough game IMO. Like I said, I believe the running attack will be the key to this game.

Best on all your picks, Sir.

Yep. Or just beating Cincy. That would be enough right there. Going into Indy and beating them as well would be probably make the universe implode on itself.
