    No way

    Suckers pay

Delayed info, delayed lines, delayed injuries

Office clerks bet 1st and then release lines, same with injuries, they send fake injury info so they can bet and sway lines

    frauds

i disagree.. i have watched there lines move exactly in order with the live websites moves.. i think they are solid and having them helped me get on the ducks last night. the line dropped .30 at post.. good stuff

$600 bucks a month! I guess you have to factor in how much the site has helped you win or saved you in potential losses but this seems outrageous.

Well i would think it is of limited use for many on here b/c of the price. If you are paying $600 a month over the course of a year then you are paying $4200 for their services....most guys on here aren't betting that kind of money to make it worth while although my understanding is that it is very very helpful. Perhaps if i was betting a dime or two a game then it would be something I would seriously consider.

$600 a month is only $4200 for a whole year?

the point is it is a waste of money.

Its a good line service for sure. If you are an angle shooter, as opposed to a handicapper, its an absolute must have. But if you are a capper playing under $1000 per game its a waste.

I've used them before a while ago, but I still feel that G&J offers a better product for the price.

Forgive my possible naivete, but what is the point of paying for Don Best or G&J when SBR Odds are free?

Is it because of the "smart money moves" or "steam plays"?

Is it because of breaking news updates?

I don't see the value in either product...

    i love donbest.

    1. late line moves
    2. injuries
    3. i like to watch pinnacle very closely
    4. and it just makes me feel cool ( and how much is that worth?)

i will also check out S@G

    thanks

Injuries are bogus, better updates on espn news

steam plays are very overrated, play them all and end up 50%

    No value at all

    Senator,
DonBest has faster lines than SBR by a few seconds. They have direct feeds that are open while ours updates every couple of seconds. We will soon have injury updates every bit as fast as theirs.

If you are playing steam(betting on slow moving lines when a line starts to move at a couple of other books) a couple of seconds is critical.

We did not create SBRLines to cater to this crowd. We are happy to refer them to DB or G&J.

G&J a better product, forget about the price. DB has bad injury info.

John- I thought that SBR Odds were off by 10 seconds. Has there been an improvement?

G&J has had a few stumbles I've caught a few times Raiders. In fact I did bring them to Mike's attention here on the forum, and he did acknowledge the info was incorrect. I will say this much in regards to that particular situation, he did go out of his way to find out who that info came from, and handled it accordingly.

The one real good thing I actually like about G&J over DB is the fact that Mike is always browsing the forums answering questions about his product.

I would have thought $600 a month is ok if you are betting at least $1000 a time, otherwise it sounds way too pricey.

I use to call DB and heard clerks calling books to make bets, it was like a fukkin boiler room operation. Last year I heard one guy make a 10k bet at Pinnacle.

Don Best is very expensive. I can only see using it if you're prepared to bet not just 1K/game but a massive amount per game. Otherwise, you're better off with SBR and ordinary decent line shopping. This will put a big dent in a normal bankroll.

mavs, how much money do you think you've either saved or won as a result of using Donbest? Please include the times you used them, made the bet and lost the bet... I am just trying to see the value here in paying $600 a month. You could parlay that up to a nice chunk of change with normal handicapping and smart line shopping.
