hi i am new to the forums and came here after being fed up with sportsbook.com

i have had some good success with sportsbook.com and recently they have been overbilling me when I make deposits

about a month ago I made two deposits to sportsbook and these charges immediately showed up on my online bank statement. A few days later I was billed again for the same two transaction. A day later I was billed again for the same 2 transactions. This put me over my checking limit and caused me to incur a $30 overdraft fee even though they reversed there error after the fact.

I sent a bank statement to them detailing the overdraft because they said they would refund it

that's when I noticed they made duplicate charges to my bank account again. I had made a very recent $1000 deposit and it showed up the same day on my bank statement and then a few days later a duplicate charge showed up again and this one has not been reversed like the ones before. I contacted them again about this $1000 overbilling that has not been reversed and theytold me to send more bank statements and I did. They contact me about the 1st round of overbilling saying that they reversed the charges, which they did, totally ignoring the fact that I specifically asked for a $30 dollar refund of the overdraft charge which they caused. They made no mention of the current $1000 they owe me which has not been reversed. I send another fax and they refer to the current issue of the $1000 they owe me as if it were the issue of the overbilling which caused the $30 overdraft which they apparently view as case closd with no $30 refund. I insist that the $1000 is the new and REAL issue since they have $1000 of my money. They tell me to send the information again even though the latest fax I sent so CLEARLY stated they have overbilled me $1000 without reversing. I am gonna send them the info again but this is totally ridiculous and it seems like they are playing dumb.

your not the first person that has had a problem with them on this type of thing. this book always seems to have these types of problems.

Could I suggest contacting your bank? They could get the $1000 back. The $30 must be maddening ... they do this and you have to pay for it. Very poor.

Although, for the purposes of balance, 5dimes recently had similar double-billing problems.

On the bank dispute form I can send to my bank it has a blank by the name of "Merchant Name" that I fill out

If I put sportsbook.com would my bank flip out seeing that it's a gambling site?

I also would like to welcome you to the forum...I am extremely sorry to hear about your experience with sportsbook.com...I had a negative experience with them as well about 3 years ago...I'd get your money out of there and check out some of the "A" rated books SBR has reviews on...
