Default Sportsbooks making special accomidations for you.

Have you experience exceptional service or been allow exceptions that you really appreciate from a sportsbook?

I don't even think you need to mention the sportsbook although you certainly can. I just don't want something extraordinary a sportsbook did to become something they have to do for others.

At times I have been given the benefit of doubt on deposits when ** couldn't be accessed (can go bad for book, but I was a good customer), been let to bet over limits, but the thing I appreciate most is letting me cancel bets I accidently made. WSEX and Olympic have both let me do that (Olympic even has policy sort of allowing as long as no line change).

Another thing I appreciate is special withdrawal considerations. Sending check to different address is case of emergency. That is something most books won't do for good reason, but it does say something for being a long term player. Books are willling to help long term customers out.

Interested to hear other poster's experiences.

lakerfan ... I know this a joke thread soooooooooo ... Exceptional service is when they aren't trying to screw me every which way to Sunday and an extraordinary book is one that isn't robbing my account while I'm sleeping ... The Fox

Got to agree with kdm ... Im not looking for a 'friendly neighbourhood bookie' (as Bill once termed) ... just a good website, clear rules and clean payouts and Im very happy.

richcoast was thinking about offering me special rebates and stuff on horse racing but decided in the end to concentrate on sports. Nobody in their right mind is gonna play at a book on horses with no rebates and reduced odds when they can play ameritab or tvg or youbet on a 100% site with full odds.

    Absolutely.

The less complications, the better. A website that easy to use, cashouts that are fast and hassle free. Anything else is just icing on the cake.

I still like the square shops when I'm on the road and I need a rundown of the odds. I tried to get a run down from a A+ book that is a P(pros) book and after the third try I told the clerk to forget it and called VIP. So I appreciate a book not getting frustrated and acting like jerks when I'm slow and taking my time.

I appreciate CS reps that speak good english, timely payouts, good software, nice bonuses...the good books know that if they give you good service and put out a good product, they will attract the right kind of player...the books I'm playing with now definitely are ones that go above and beyond the call of duty, compared to ones I've played with in the past that would do whatever they could to stall me getting paid or getting a good line...
