Why did the line for Saints/Panthers line take so long to come out?

I noticed this entire week on SBRodds.com that the NO/CAR game no book including CRIS posted a line until some time today (1/2/10). What caused that? Uncertainty about a player?

Saints qb Drew Brees not playing...my guess...or players being rested...

injuries & players resting. Looks like the Saints are definitely going to belly flop into the playoffs

What does belly flop into the playoffs mean? Not going to give Game 17 all their effort?

I just asked about this because I've never seen a game take longer to put out a line than this as far as I can remember...I monitor the lines on SBRodds every day.

Doesn't have anything to do with the line. Means they are probably going to go into the playoffs as losers of 3 straight. Not exactly what I'd call a head of momentum.
