Default Can you give me an opinion on this decision by ABC Islands?

I bet a football prop on yesterday's Denver vs. Dallas game. The wager was for which pair of running backs would have the most rushing yards:
Tatum Bell + Mike Anderson -12.5 vs.
Julius Jones + Marion Barber +12.5
I bet T. Bell + M. Anderson -12.5. I turn on the game to see that Bell isn't playing so I figure the wager should be cancelled. I check my account this morning to find that my wager was graded as a loss. I called customer service and spoke with a manager and was given the reply that because Mike Anderson played, the wager had action.
Does anybody here disagree with their decision? Shouldn't the wager have been graded as a push?

I think this should have been no action ... Would we be having this conversation if Anderson outgained those other 2? ... It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the book called that a push ... Either way they can't lose ... I think you can chalk this up as taking one up the ass.

All 4 players should have to play in order to have action. I am curious to know whether they really graded the opposit side as a win.

I guess you'll need to trawl through the rules on the website to see if they specify the rules for these type of wagers. Personally I would have though they would have considered it no action unless all the relevant people started the game but "common sense" doesn't always translate for the purposes of grading bets.

So, initially try and find the rules. If you can't find the rules then tell them to advise where the rules are for this type of wager. If you don't get a satisfactory answer then you can pass all the information to SBR to look into.

this is what i found on there website in regards to there prop bets:

    Props

Football, Basketball and Hockey player props: both players must play in the game to have action except in pool events.
All props will be graded as soon as the event occurs except for those that require a full game to be played. This will be graded at the completion of the event and if the event should be suspended, the props will be declared no action.
Baseball player props, both players and starting pitchers must start for action.

Tricky situation. At first glance I would say no action.

I'd like to see what the policy is at other books for a prop like this.

" Head to head player props both players must play in the game to have action."

Should be no action but they'll probably say that this rule applies to 1-on-1 or that both sides had action since one of the players got to play. No doubt it is the wrong decision.

As Marc said, wonder if they graded the other side as a win.
