Default Credit Card Question

I'm trying to figure out the best way to get money into Matchbook and BetJamaica.

BetJamaica accepts VISA gift cards. Has anyone done this?

Matchbook accepts credit cards, but do they accept cards from North America? Do they also accept VISA gift cards?

I set up an account with EcoCard to deposit with Carib and BookMaker, but Matchbook and BetJamaica don't take EcoCard yet. I guess I'm kinda lost in the post-Neteller days. Can anyone steer me in the right direction on what works easiest and the fastest for American players at these four books?

I have used a prepaid gift card and it seems to work well with BetJamiaca. I just hope that they will keep working there come football season but we will have to wait and see on that though. I just hope it still works for me anyways.

I just opened/deposited into new accounts with BJ (approx month ago) and MB (yesterday). My credit cards wouldn't allow deposits, so I had to look at other options. I didn't want to provide my bank account info, so I used the all access visa at Betjam - worked no problem. I asked MB if I could use the same card to open a new account with them and they sent back an email with their website's deposit page (copy and pasted) in the message. One of the options was moneygram - I went with that - again no problems. However, both avenues of deposit demanded that I go to "providers" (basically one of those check cashing joints - provide copy of license + ss#) to deposit funds into the accounts first (visa debit and moneygram) and then deposit into BJ and MB. Lotsa hoops these days as a US customer.

senator7,

Yes, I believe that the easiest way is to get those visa gift2go cards. Go to your local walgreens & look for the yellow giftcards. The only problems is that they come in 30$, 50$, and 100$ values. So there are a couple problems w/ this:

1)If you're looking towards a hefty deposit, you are buying a lot of $100 giftcards.
2) It is actually harder than expected to find these cards. Sure, walgreens sell these cards, but you'll be surprised how they are first ones to go. (Personally, I had to go to 3 different walgreens to get 500$ worth)
3) I'm not sure this is w/ all Walgreens, but they want you to pay in cash for the gift cards. Just bring the cash in case, if you can't buy it w/ credit cards.

The best way to put the money in your account is to call them up directly. They are very helpful, but so are all customer service when it comes to depositing. Reason why I say call them directly, is b/c.

1) They put it directly in your account.. it took me maybe 10 minutes to put in the funds.... using 4 100$ giftcards and 2 50$ giftcards..
2) You can ask them to reimburse you for the extra fees that are tacked on to giftcards... ( I believe it is a deposit of over 250$... I put in 500$ and it came to 529$ and some change.) You ask them that you had to pay the fees, and they'll put in instantly.. no hassle at all
3) If this is your first time depositing, you just tell them tell that you've been reading up & it says you get a 20% bonus when you deposit up to 500$ & up to 10% for anything over 500$

I hope this helps... I'm not sure how the w/drawal process is... since i've started this last week....

The money was instantly in my account after I called in... it was faster calling them and giving them the gift card numbers than it did to actually finding these cards... The thing that got me weary was that I gave them my account # & password.. not sure if that's how they usually do it, but that was pretty shoddy...

oh well, g'luck to you senator... (sorry for the long reply)

So I can use prepaid VISA cards at both BetJamaica and Matchbook?

Is Moneygram easier and cheaper than Western Union and do BetJamaica and Matchbook both take it?

I used Visa all-access gift cards at matchbook. Entered it online with no problems. Each card is limited to $100.

So can I use these VISA gift cards at BetJam, Matchbook, and BookMaker?

They sound pretty easy.

www-card works for Matchbook but I haven't tried for BetJam or BookMaker.

Be sure to save the info for your Visa Gift cards cause when you cash out, they will ask for the copy of your card or (for virtual Visa) copy of the info from the site you purchased the card from.

I have yet to find a book that didn't accept my debit card. Some can even process credit cards from major US issuers.

You mean your Visa checkcard from a US bank?

BetJM also takes all-access Visa gift cards. What's nice is they pickup the $5.95 fee for each $100 gift card (if you deposit at least $200). You also get a 10% reload (4x turnover). Great customer service!
