    I guess I will have to not travel as much and make my mom watch in the times I actually do get away.....she will use it as an opportunity to see me more often.

    good lookin dog and cool a$$ name!!

    Pickin my 9 yr old dog up, today, from the vet. Tore it's ACL in it's back left leg and needed surgery. As Sickler mentioned in a post, my dog is always there when I get home from work with her tag a waggin happy to see me.

    Need friggen coffee....That would be "tail" a waggin, not "tag"....

    Had him until 3 or 4 years ago. Puppy was a gift for a girl I was planning on marrying. We broke up and she didn't have room for him in her life.

    I did the same thing you're planning, brought him to the parents often. The dog spent about four years in total with them. Parents were happy to have him so it worked out.

    Not thinking about a replacement. Although it's not on the same level as caring for a child, it's a big enough responsibility. I'm not prepared to commit to that again.

    Dogs control your life and hard to do stuff without worrying about the dog.

    That is a cutie!

    My Labradoodle is 9 months old now....what a hard but fun 9 months. He has chewed at least a whole cow in raw hides not to mention my now ex favorite shoes.

    He is a little trouble maker as all puppies are. He is adjusting quite well though just tiring both DanceGirl and I out.
