I love Casino but I have to go with Goodfellas. Too may great characters...too much nostalgia...it's on right now...but it's A&E so they edit the dialogue and it sounds like crap. It's hard to beat the Billy Batts scene.

IF you are looking for a good mob movie.. of course it's Goodfellas

IF you are looking for a great gambling movie too.. tons of sports gambling in this also and it's our lives.. then you go with CASINO easily.


i prefer CASINO.. how can you not love professional gambler ace rothstein.. oh and i forgot. how can you not like that nut, nicky santoro..

Nicky is right here. I was just looking at it from a pure cinematic point of view. The gambling angle might throw a wrench in it. Nicky Santoro is a real badass. Both movies are so good. That's why I thought it would be a good debate.

goodfellas is always the choice of most everyone when you ask best mob movie.. but you know what never gets a vote and is my all time fav mob movie?? it's A BRONX TALE.. man, this is a great mob movie and is so realistic of the 60's mob scene in NY with sonny. the illegal gambling, the horse track with Mush.. the kid wanting to be a part of them and dad deniro not wanting his son to be a part of that scene.. there is killings, lots and lots of gambling.. i just loved that mob movie. my fav of all time.
i think it's just me as i have never heard anyone mention this movie

if you like mob movies boys, watch this movie. it's so realistic and i love it.

A Bronx Tale is a great movie. I love that bar fight scene. There are many other great gangster movies that we need to bring up as well...Godfather...1&2, Scarface, Carlito's Way...Miller's Crossing is pretty good...as is Departed...these two are just so close IMO

wow, what a scene.. that's what you get for messing with sonny and the mob. .the bikers will never bother them again, you can be sure..

if you really want to know what the best mob movie of all time is, make a poll with these 2, godfather 1 and 2, the untouchables, scarface, carlito's way, donnie brasco, and whatever else you can come up with. have a 9 vote mob movie poll and lets see who wins.

My favorite movie that is better than both of those is Once Upon a Time in America. Lots of famous people in that movie and it is more of a real mob movie than anything. Orale guey, Santa Bruta Califas, Sureno Vida, La tuya guey
