Spurs were really big favs to win, a nice call but not anything that was not expected.

To predict that they would win 4 in a row after the way they looked in Game 1 was pretty ballsy though.

Denver looked very impressive in Game 1, and the fact that the Nuggets won Game 1 in 2005 and then got beaten in 5 games, was reason enough in my mind to believe that it would not happen again in 2007.

Exact same circumstances have a funny way of NOT happening repeatedly in sports. I have bet against these circumstances reoccurring from year to year and have done quite well at it.

It's tough to beat a professional team like a drum the same way you did it last year or the year before.

Hence, I am picking Phoenix over San Antone, albeit in 7 games.

spurs generally get off to a slow start in playoffs and then build momentum. I think they could win it all this year. Cant wait for the Sun/Spurs series...could be a classic.

The Spurs inside game was not that potent and that could be a bad sign. But they can play with anyone with their great defense and outside shooting. Kind of odd the inside game would be even in question with Duncan. They need to move him around imo.
