not the same as it was when we were 5 definitely.. it's just like another day now.. when you heard xmas carols back then, you got hyper and happy.. today when i hear them, it's actually sad.. i keep saying, wow, another year went by so fast..

i wish i can be a kid again and see 23 gifts under our tree and 11 of them were mine and you coulldn't wait till dec 25th to open them. man how times have changed.. oh well, it's called life..

4 family members just arrived yesterday, and already when were at the state store here in PA. shopping with a FULL shopping cart.

Ski lift and ski rental tickets for 7 people, ouch, feel the holiday cheer yet.

2 feet of snow in the yard

heavy traffic near any place that sells anything

Eric Estrada as a host for a Christmas special

and finally, people I don't even know asking for donations

Yeah, it totally feels like Christmas, I'd say though it isn't officially Christmas until we have a huge family argument, and some of my side of the family try to make the moves on my wife, then it will completely Christmas time at the Wizard house.

..oh, and the entire family loves to gamble on shit during the season, they pretty much use me as the bookie, and I pass along the excess to pinny on games where I have too much action on 1 side.

I have two kids and whilst there are past believing in Santa, I have been made aware of exactly how many days there are until Christmas from about the beginning of November.

With that said, today and tomorrow are about the only two days of genuine holiday (aside from Summer vacation) I have had in 2009.
