i am pretty new to this forum but a few days back i saw a post asking about starting a pick service. i would like to do this in a few years but am wondering if you guys have an opinion as to the best place to track plays...

i realize i am at the end of this year's string, but want to start tracking now so that i have the bells and whistles of whichever website, etc figured out so that i can get it going next year with the hope of starting (or joining a service in 2011). so please tell me the best place to track plays (i suppose the best feature would be traffic and viewership).

for what it's worth, my NFL sides are 16-1 this year; my totals are 19-6.

Also, for what it's worth, my dog has 5 legs. The fifth leg is like a kickstand on a bike. He turns it up along the side of body. He only uses it pogo-stick his way over fences.

For what it's worth, his pogo-sticking record in dog pogo-sticking matches is 16-1 and 15-4 in non-local events.

question: why the hell would you care about starting or joining a service when you're going 16-1??? pony up and put some money on it. i mean you could lose 7 in a row and still be up like 2 G's if ur betting 100 a game. worry less about becoming a tout and worry more about self control and discipline with your own betting, then you will be able to make money without being a scumbag.

well, put simply, my profession does not allow me to move large amounts of $$ at offshore accounts because of the state where i reside. my local guy has stopped me at $500/ game, so i am maximizing it as best i can. i plan to move to outside of my conservative state as soon as possible, but until then i would like to maximize the earnings on my plays.

i am not making the statement that i have been betting that all year.

i have been working on this for some time now, and have backtracked it back from Week 11 this year when i finally got the stats working. since then i have been testing the water with it. i have been 10-0 in sides since then. i have been stepping up the betting since week 11, but have not come close to $500 per game. i was going to bet the max (which is how i found out the limit was $500 per game) this week on them (i did bet it on Indy) but was scared of MIA because bookiebill had a play on JAX. so i didn't even play that one and played GB at $150.

while backtracking weeks 1-14 for accuracy before i started actually tracking, i noticed that most of the games i WOULD have played went under the total, so i started tracking that this week, where it went 0-2.

i am new to this board but check out all sorts of plays, and offer what i can to help. i posted the backtracked record because i am proud that i have been working on this thing for so long and it has finally been successful to a degree, much the same way that blunts posts his 21-16 NBA record--the exception being that mine is not documented, as i acknowledged.

i was not trying to get you to send me a message and ask me what my plays are for next week. i really don't care if you think i am a fraud or not, i simply asked a question.

backtracked including totals, yes. But the totals were
0-2 this week so I may have jumped the gun with those.

As I said, I posted the record because I was proud of it. In case you didn't notice, I have had 17 plays in 16 weeks--that's 1 per week. I would not have had a play from week 4-9. Because of that and my limited wagering ability, I was
trying to think of a way to get
more money out of it and thought of a pay service.

i took zeta's advice and opened an account on that site so i can "officially" track my plays, with SD being my first "officially" tracked play tonight (17-1 unofficially on NFL sides this year). i also have OAK and BAL on SUN though i would recommend buying them to +3 or +3.5.

as i said above, i am not interested in being a tout as much as i just am trying to maximize my bankroll while i am in a position that limits my wagering ability. my thought process is that i have a much better chance maximizing profit by playing my plays (especially considering the few there are per week).

that was the question i was leading to in my original post when i was "attacked" ... where would i track them here?
