Forget Panera Bread , Fishhead :: McDonald's will have FREE Internet
McDonald's will soon start offering free wireless Internet access at its U.S. restaurants as part of the fast-food chain's transformation from its hamburger roots into a hang-out destination.
Starting in mid-January, McDonald's will lift a $2.95 fee that it had charged customers for two hours of wireless Internet access, available at about 11,000 of its 14,000 domestic locations, McDonald's USA Chief Information Officer David Grooms said in an interview.

i rarely step foot in a mcdonalds, if i go there, i use the driveup
wow, that would be awesome if this came to mtl.. the GF loves mcd's coffee and muffuin for 1.39$ special with refills...she never wants to come home from there. we have a mcd's 5 min from me. but i need to always get home fast to put in bets. man, if this came here, i can now spend 5 hrs there with her, do my bets, and it's an excuse to take her out.. the thing is, i was told not even a laptop would work at my mcd's..
if this ever came to MTL, i'd be the happiest guy in the world..
BTW boys, i hate coffee in general, but i looooooove mcd's coffee. best in montreal, hands down.. even better than timmy horton's..
They NOW have decent coffee and is reasonable. The food is so-so

if you sat there on the internet for 2 hrs, and didn't eat or drink a thing. I think you'd still gain 2 pounds just from inhaling the greese in the air

now that i think of it, this will NVER work.. when i take her to Mcd's, we usually sit in the car for 2 hrs, listen to CD's, talk talk talk, and she gets to smoke her cigarettes (of course with window rolled down) cause no smoking in the restaurant.
IF i used internet with her, the fight would be unreal. i'd not listen to 1 word she says because my attention would be focused on lines, SBR, email, etc.. this would NOT work.. the fighting would be immense and she'd be saying, why are you not listening to me..
bad idea.
also, isn't this a bad idea because aren't people's fingers going to be all greasy and then they're going to put em on the keyboard.. unless you are not allowed to eat while surfing.
The Burger King near my house has free wifi , just found out this morning
