    Default Survivor Pool Advice

My Survivor Pool is down to 23 people going into this week. This is a pretty big week because most of the big teams are off the board and because of the match ups. Any advice on who I should take? Just need to win, no spreads involved. I am leaning towards San Diego, Tennessee or Oakland(I can't believe I said Tennesse or Oakland) Thanks!

Teams I have left to use.
Detroit, Baltimore, Buffalo, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Minnesota, Cleveland, Kansas City, New England, San Diego, Tennessee, San Fran, Houston, St. Louis, Arizona, Jacksonville, Oakland, Miami, Green Bay, New York Jets, New Orleans.

Match Ups for teams I have left:
    Atlanta @ Detroit
    Baltimore @ Cincy
    Carolina @ Buffalo
    Chicago @ Tampa Bay
    Cleveland @ Minnesota
    New England @ Kansas City
    San Diego @ Washington
    San Fran @ Tennessee
    St. Louis @ Houston
    Jacksonville @ Arizona
    Miami @ Oakland
    Green Bay @ Philly
New Orleans @ New York Jets

Tennessee personally. They are a pretty solid 8 point favorite at home, tough to not consider taking them now as they won't be that much of a favorite again I would guess.

personaly, i think i'd take my chances with the Saints this week. the jets have totaly packed it in this year. and, it's showing more and more every week. i know the saints are no prize either. but, there the lesser of two evils. plus, if you use the saints this week. you still have a few decent teams to use down the line.

I'd hate to invest anything in a game involving the Saints and Jets at this point I love football and I don't think I'll even be able to watch this game.

    bigboydan,

I ended up going with my first pick of Oakland. I understand what you mean with New Orleans and appreciate the advice. I just like the Raiders at home against a team that the coach says it doesn't matter what the score is anymore this year. Plus getting shut out at Cleveland last week helped my decision also. Wish me luck this is a pretty large pot I have a chance at.

I hadn't ever really heard of these survivor pools until this year...pretty cool, gives people a reason to watch the games and they don't have to risk a whole lot...

That sucks Oakland lost for you golf. Probably should have listened to dan. It was a tough choice and I'm not trying to play Sunday evening QB here.

    No problem Illusion,

I deserve to be kicked in the nuts for asking for advice then not taking it. Half of the people left got knocked out for taking there chances on those bums in Oakland. Thanks for the advice fellas. Next time I will listen

begolf25, with all the favorites that covered yesterday. i'm suprised you got eliminated to be honest with you.

i know some of these types of pools offer a 1 time rebuy. but, does the one that your in have that option. ?

I wish we did have a rebuy because I would be all over it. I can't believe I blew a $6,000 pot on Oakland. This was the best chance I have had to win it yet. Oh well, just like my Redskins, there's always next year.
