Stop Something is very f--ked up about debate on the illegal gambling issue

You know I've been Ignoring this issue because it is one issue that when ever I think about it I can't control my temper and I'm fearing I'll do something very very wrong like going postal on the
mother farkers I believe are behind this issue and we all KNOW who this is
or do we? I'll stop right there because I'm starting to feel a Physcotic episode coming on and I'm running low on my anxiety medication prescription for the month so with that being said I can't participate in this discussion. The MSNBC special that aired last night is eating the living shit out of me so can you fellows help me feel better? Here is what I'm going to do to get it started and then we will go from there I'll ask some questions and you give me the answers or opinions okay?

1.Why is sports investing the most despised BY THE GOVERNMENT form of gambling in the USA?

2.Why is all other forms welcome with open arms?

    3. It is a known fact that only professional sport investors know that sports investing is the only form of gambling that you have the best odds to become successful at So why is the government against this success story then?

PAULY'S PERSONAL LIST OF GAMBLING ACTIVITY'S THAT HE HAD OR HAS PLENTY OF EXPERIENCE WITH MOST SUCESSFULL TO LEAST *GRADE SCALE 10 STRONGEST 0 WEAKEST*

    1.SPORTS INVESTING *10
    2.CRAPS *7

    4.POKER *5
    5.HORSE RACING *5
    6.ALL OTHER TABLE GAMES *4
    7 SLOTS/POKER machines *1
    8 LOTTERY *0

Now back to my list of Questions:

    4. Since lottery is last on my list and I am willing to bet my life it will be on the bottom of all gamblers list's Why is it the governments #1 choice of support????

5.Does the government support all who strives to be successful at what they do?

    6. Who knows the real answer to this heaping pile of bull shit?

    7. Is our government just a form of control to keep the selected
few or chosen ones at the top of power and the rest at the bottom?

    8. If this is true what would you call this?

Well fellow pro's let this discussion begin I have a hell of a feeling this debate is going to get pretty farkin DDDEEEEEEEPPP! 'or at least hoping'

I feel better already or is this going to make me feel worse

    RESPONSES WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

    PAULYPOKER
he gets the redneck bar patrons full attention as he hurls a beer glass threw the mirror behind the bar and shouts "There's a new sheriff in town" pause then in a slightly lower voice says " and his name is Reggie Hammond" pause then sarcasticlly says "you all be cool now you hear"

    THANKYOU
I just wish there was something we all could do about it!!!
Sad thing is though the ties are woven so deep there would be as much blood shed as a world war so that most likely makes it impossible.

Can't answer all your questions because I don't know. But, I do know this. This bs was passed by the Republicans under Bush and now some of the Democrats are attempting to change it. It will be a struggle.

The irony of this is the R's are supposedly for individual freedom and limited government involvement.
    Go figur.

i love the argument that the government cannot figure out how to tax it, like it is rocket science

seems like numerous other governments with much less resources have sorted out this dilemma

Seriously dude, the questions you bring up have obvious answers, and this has been debated many times. Plus, your nice little chart of games is retarded. Craps, really?

And yeah, being conservative and being retarded is basically the same thing. Duh.

The vast majority of people dumb enough to buy lottery tickets would lose their ass in sports betting, too.

That said, it is time for the U.S. government to grow up and legitimize sports gambling. $40 billion in taxes is nothing to sneeze at. But they should not run the gambling system. Let the Vegas books run it (as they are well prepared to do) and keep it very competitive between the books. Contrary to popular belief, taxes would not raise the vig on sports betting; in fact, in an environment with half a dozen large Vegas bookmakers, competition would lower the vig slightly. Each Vegas book would be getting 50 to 100 times the action they currently book, which should enable them to reduce the vig and still make money coming out of their ears.
