btw, i played at Mansion forever.. and i used to looooooooooooove the hell out of that book. the #'s i was getting were unbelievable. when i found out they were gone, i literally cried..

Yesterday I met some guys that are in your league of betting style and they too miss Mansion. They all said it was just a question of how much money you would trust them with.

I used to think mb was complicated. I made it a point to get used to it and learn how it works and it is a "must have" for major sports. A bookmaker that lays off action that does not have and use a mb account (perferably credit) is literally throwing fists full of money away each week.

On a major sport it is difficult to find a game that matchbook does not offer the best price ON BOTH SIDES. Especially an hour or so or less before game time.

That is saying something imo.

Say you have $100 in your account and want to put up an offer for $100. MB won't let you, it always assumes you will be paying the 1% commission, even if you won't. It should be fairly easy for them to fix this.

matchbook doesnt like empty markets, and if they have no market makers they're probably not going to put it up

they'll have 'em for the tournament though

this is a very good point in the OP by doug. would make a lot of sense to do this.

by the way I finally got matchbook to work with my cell phone (the new update to the Palm Pre).
