Guy has bad games like every other QB but he is amazing as he always puts his teams in position to go to playoffs and advance.

Philly is a serious contender for the bowl now, i don't trust the Saints or Indy defense, and Philly can put up TDs in no time.

Boy that was some game last night.
I got lucky and had Philly
I thought it was gonna be a no sweater
then I thought I was gonna lose when the Giants picked it off deep in Philly territory and took the lead
But wow..they came right back and scored on that long pass play and monday morning seems so much more beautiful

from 9-10 I shall utter the words- "Payouts please!"

Are you guys serious, McNabb never and will never win the big game; he's a choke artist.

McNabb will not be able to beat the Saints in a playoff game.

JJ I would say that Warren Moon is the best black quater back ever.

    Great game there last night.

Although I attribute the loss to the fumble and punt return which resulted in two easy touchdowns for the Eagles.

McNabb is a borderline Hall of Famer in my book! To call him a choke artist means you don't know football!
The Eagles have always been soft under Andy Reid....passing 70% of the time and unable to pickup short yardage...i.e. the game at Chicago last year where they outgained the Bears all night but got stuffed inside the 5 to lose the game! McNabb has had 1 elite receiver in his career and only lost the SB by 3 points with TO! PManning carries the Colts too but even their finesse O-line has been more physical than Philly's over the years! McNabb has had a good defense w/Jim Johnson but overall I think McNabb has had to carry his team more than any other QB in the NFL during his career!

McNabb has earned his nickname McChoke. He simply does not have it in crunch time. How many rings does he have? There is no way Philly gets past Minny or New Orleans. They had better beat out Arizona because McChoke is going to need the easiest road he can get in the playoffs, and I am not sure that they can beat Green Bay at home. I am sure that they can handle Dallas at home, though it would be a strange match-up because they play Dallas in Dallas on week 17. McNabb choked away his only shot at a Superbowl. He has thrown away more opportunities to get to the Superbowl than I care to remember. Now all the blame does not belong on McNabb. Reid deserves a lot of it. Philly will win the NFC East, probably get a 3 seed, then open against Dallas at home. After that win, they go down in Minnesota.

I love McNabb but to say he is just a winner when he has no rings and has lost 4 NFC title games, seems a little exaggerated. Throws the best deep ball in football though imo with his huge, bear like hands.

Out of the 4 losses how many times did he have the better team???? Oh right, that's what I thought. JJ is right here. The guy has basically never had anybody to throw 2, yet his coach wants to throw on every down. As a die hard Giant fan I can tell you he certainly is a winner against the G-Men. Every freaken time, rraaaaaahhhhhh.

Donovan rarely has had good players around him that is what makes him one of the better qbs the nfl has every see. Most QB's are busts in the nfl but he most of the time gives his team a shot at superbowl and that is amazing.

275 yards passing, two td's, one interception, against the 5th worst defense. I will consider that as expected, average.

This is the best offensive weaponry he's ever had around him. Unfortunately injuries have hurt the defense from the LB corps into the DBs. I think that is the ultimate win or lose factor for Philly. For once, they should be able to score points against anyone - if healthy, but I'm not sold they can make enough stops. Normally, that would be the reverse! Trotter at MLB is going to kill them if they overplay him. McNabb still has to make the throws though, he's a master at ankle tossing at times, more-so than most.

    EaglesPhan, well done sir!!!

McNabb has never choked in a game? But he did throw up in the biggest game of his life at the most crucial time of the game? Oh, wait a minute, Don swears he didn't throw up even though 2 offensive linemen came on a local TV show the following night and said he did like it was no big deal! FredEx had to call the play in the huddle. He still says he never threw up like Clinton says he didn't have sexual relationships with that woman!

IMO don't think that big of deal, but just goes to show how insecure mentally this very good QB is? Numerous situations that I will bore you with another time! Don stills holds a grudge against Eagle fans for booing (Dirty 30) the selection of him on draft day? Everyone in town wanted Ricky Williams! They could have drafted the reincarnation of Jim Thrope and he would have been booed! Unreal how this guy has been in Philly this long and still doesn't get Philly? Very simple, if you fuk up, take the heat! We love standup guys and always love to see them finally come through!!! Don, always will root for you in Eagle Green, just don't shove in back in our face if you finally win the big one! Thanks!

The Giants had so many blown coverages last night, anyone of us could have made those wide open throws. They lost to Oakland for Christ's sake! So I wouldn't say the Best black QB around. He hit wide open receivers and Vick scored a TD also. 2 defensive TD's, he was not all that last night COME ON!!

Who is a better black QB?? Mcnair and Moon might b close but really there's nobody else in the conversation. Maybe Cunningham but i think that's stretchin it. The guy gets it done. He wins games. He's still top 7 or 8 QB in the league right now.

I do have to agree with JJ on this one. Doug Williams has the ring, but that was pretty much the blip on the radar of an otherwise mediocre career. He had a couple solid years with shitty Tampa teams and then the Super Bowl year. If he wasn't black, he'd be Trent Dilfer.

lmaoooooo at this thread, calling a veteran QB who has been on great teams but never won a ring--- a winner.
he's also only ONCE had a passer rating over 100, in ten seasons.

what about the times he missed wide open receivers last night? desean jackson is a winner, not mcnabb.
he cant scramble anymore, so his accuracy has to be pinpoint. its not. he made some good throws, but he made some bad ones too. hes not "a fukkin winner".

A lot of good points were made on this thread. As a life long Eagles fan I must comment on a few.
Ankle tosser, he has always been often at the worst possible moments!
Good game last night, not great.
Finds a way to win. He sure does but often needs a come back after a first half of ankle tossing.
This year if they dont step up on defence its gonna be another early exit in the play offs.
Eagles with Mcnabb often win the big games [regular season] like last night, and loose to some punk a$$ team like Oakland!! Frustrating to say the least.
With the exception of the TO years this year he has the best arsenal of his career. This year I like better then the TO years because he has more wepons. Problem is this is the worst Defence he has ever had. I dont have the numbers to back that statement up, and they might have good numbers comparitively but no way Eli has that much time in any of the last 5 years. The Giants had their way with the Eagles D last night. JJ is turning in his grave!! RIP
The Eagles were favored in 3 of the 4 NFC championship games they lost. Nothing says choke like loosing a play off game as the fav.
I do think he will go to HOL. In my opinion he is the most inconsistant QB to consistantly make the play offs.
I love the Chris Collinsworth analogy "The movie is always good but the ending is terrible"
Being an Eagles fan is like having good sex with out nutting!!
On last thing, I dont look at him as a black QB. Just a QB.
    Go Birds!!!

Why do you have to mention his race???

He is a winner. He has been a winner for a long time now. He has not won the big one but a lot of QB's are in that category

definitely best black qb in the league today, would put him behind moon and then mcnair...mcnabb has a cannon but he can be so frustrating at times just completely missing receivers...however he does win games and last night was a good win for him (and me) but im not sure im quite ready to put him in HOF status yet..
