What I know about phone/internet betting in Vegas is from more than two years ago, so things may have changed, but probably not much.

No, you couldn't wager from anywhere in Nevada, you had to be in the Las Vegas area (they would send you a code on a beeper that only worked in the area). Of course you could always have a friend in Vegas hold on to the pager and relay the code to you.

But, unless you are a small player, forget about it. The books are very wary of phone bettors and will keep you on a short leash. I believe the highest limits I found were $500 sides (MLB).
