I think Houston wins the game. There is no more overrated team in the NFL than the Chiefs, and they certainly prove that every time they play on the road. The Texans will be amped up for a home game on national television.

I got on the Texans this morning for 5 units @ +7. Hopefully, they come through and break my skid.

Can't agree with you more on this Razz. Unfortunately, if the Texans do win tonight, there will be no more inflated lines with the Chiefs to take advantage of after tonight.

David Carr is stealing money from Houston...no other way to look at it. This team blows...penalties, turnovers, dropped balls, poor coaching you name it.
Not sure what possessed me to bet on them today....4 unit loss on the day.

Let's hope for the miracle backdoor. Their offensive coordinator is horrible and Andre Johnson with two big errors, the penalty and the fumble. They should've ran the ball more, but now it's out of hand.

sorry owned...not happening...this has been a horrible weekend for me.
In my writeup i recommend taking Baylor and Army i decided not too...had scUM and Missouri money lines and both had double digit leads in the 4th quarter and lost....played a "fun" parlay 7 with huge money lines and saw Houston lose SU as a
-520 home fav.
Went to bet SF today but was a few seconds late as the game just started....then of course they covered easily.
Watched the Bengals defense look like they couldn't stop a high school team, the Jets not able to score, the Lions commit 17 penalties and Bledsoe throw for 110 yds and they still covered.
Been a real bad weekend...hopefully NCAAB will be better i think i am done with football.

I dont blame you on wanting to quit Foots BB.
I stopped basicly betting foots , but if I find something of value, I will place it.
Hoops and Pucks are basicly it for me, with a few foots here and there.

Football lines have gotten real sharp. There isn't much value left. You might as well focus on hoops and pucks until baseball rolls back around.

I had the Chiefs at -6.5 (they just scored as I type this). This was a somewhat strange game in that we saw the Texans play both inspired and watched them self-implode. BTW, I'm 5-1 this weekend. If the Packers win and cover tomorrow (-4) I'll have cleaned up.

Too bad about Houston tonight, I got fu**ed too on them not showing up. But wow...the posters on this board bring tears of joy to my eyes. I've never seen a board more open to taking dogs. The other boards I go to are favorite heavy, then they can't understand why the favorites teams didn't play to their potential when they lose. I swear, I just get all the picks these guys are on and take the opposite. Cha-ching...DA BEARS. Of course they're all happy now that the Chiefs won tonight.

A lot of sophisticated posters on here Montreal. Lot of guys on here who are I would consider sharp. It's just been a tough year with favorites covering nearly 60% of games this year. Not been a good year for the contrarian capper.
The bad teams are really bad this year!

60%?!?! Wow! Okay well I was wondering why I seemed to be getting screwed over a lot in the NFL. Well in my totally illogical thinking that would mean to me that this 60% is gonna have to come down! Can't wait to capitalize.

i couldn't agree more. pucks and hoops is where i seem to be finding the most value right now, and it has been that way for a few weeks now.

Sorry for touting a dog like Houston last night, BB. That was real depressing to watch. Gave up 45 points to KC. Wow!!!! Never saw it comin.

well i kind of got lucky in two ways... (1) i had a scalp with KC -7 (+106) and +7 (+100) (2) I messed up majorly and got away with it by playing the halftime line of KC -0.5 (+115) and Houston 0 (+100)...i was very fortunate it didn't end up tied in the 2nd half as it very well should have and i would have lost one bet while pushing the other. That took the sting away a little bit but again I was really not thinking much last night after seeing that first half performance.
