If u had 1 do-over in life, what would it be?
I'll start, I would not have skipped school and finished on time and got a degree in something professional

Paco, solid thread, good work.
I would have stayed with and married a certain girl -- she loved me and was a great catch, but I thought it wasn't quite right and figured there'd be other, better girls for me -- incorrect. I f--ked that one up bad. She's married to some other a-hole now. Prob even has a kid by now.

Raz, even a lousy 10k investment back then could have netted you tens of millions. Unreal opportunity. Such a shame but I missed the gravy train back then.

I'd have called the ambulance 10 minutes before my best friend had the heart attack that killed him. That was 13 years, seven months and 21 days ago, and not a day has gone by that I haven't missed having him around.

Agreed Buzzy, it was arguably the greatest investment chance this century. Shame I was too young and not well versed in stocks at the time to take advantage. It was essentially a lotto ticket for those who did invest.

Never had sex, never smoked a blunt or gotten drunk, never started gambling, never cursed, never been in places where prostitution was going on, never seen someone shoot heroine in my face, never potentially committed blasphemy. Seams like a lot but it really is only 1 thing, I would have simply been a better person.

wish I held on 1000 shares for another 2.5 weeks!
Bought them for $1 a share and sat on them for 3 years, sold them at $4.30 a share but less than 3 weeks later, $96 a share

When I was in my 20's I owned a few Harness horses I had a chance to buy a horse called Mud Hole for 8k a young 3yr trotter my trainer looked at him and said ....Looks small chested and I really dont like his legs a pass here is good. One of the stable hands begged me to buy him for 8k saying some how ill get half and buy half I'll take care of the horse everyday myself he will be a champ someday. Again I decided after thinking it over a long time not to buy...Mud Hole goes on to win a 650 k race at the Meadowlands wins over a million lifetime and that year I lost half my money in the penny stock market which crashed. I would love a mulligan there

I would have recognized when I was prop'd for a 3-some [2 chicks FYI] -
Instead I thought my girlfriend at the time was just swinging by the house with her friend to say "hello". -- Real cool when she told my friends about it 2 years later.

Paco, great thread. Sad thread but still a great thead. I tried to answer but the trut is there are too many things I would have done differently at different points in my life. I am a decent enough person but that doesn't mean I don't have regrets. Not often a thread can make you step back and reflect and look at the totaility of ones life. I have always been a do-over type of person. If something got old I started something different. If something didn't work out I tried something else. Unfortunately none of us get a do over in life and that completely sucks.
I applaude those that took the time to reflect and were able to isolate one moment in time they would go back and change. I applaude both your honesty and your ability to focus on that one thing that could have changed your life foever.
Paco most of all I applaude you. You managed to start a thread that enables one to really see the depth of some of the posters here. Many try and ultimately fail because we tend to not take life seriously but to this point this thread deserves a nomination for it's originator and the responders as well.
