Default The ugliest NBA fix in a while

25+ points scored in the last 2 mins, with Phoenix leading by 10 points at LAL and game decided. Enough to cover the over 217, and even some points to spare.

PHX was shooting with 18 secs left on the clock with a 9 pt lead. That was strange..

Had under 107 for the 2nd H, which should easily have been a winner.

I had the UNDER 219.5 for that game. Kobe's last second 3 just had to go in, didn't it. I swear my luck sucks so bad, it just isn't fair! Under 219.5 and crazy points scored in last 2 minutes. I feel like absolute crap right now. Damn game is over already, stop fouling already!

30+ points in less than 2 minutes. WTF was going on? Were they trying to set a new Guinness Record for most points under 2 min? I didn't deserve to lose that game!

    UNDER was the right play.

It was 45 points in the final 4 minutes. On pace for a 540 pt game.

I was hoping for 218, which would have been one sweet middle.

I am not sure if it was a fix, but I really do think that they know what the spread is. It probabbly keeps them interested during the season. I know that against Denver last week, they kept shooting the ball at the end of the game when they were up by like 13. They were shooting threes and jumpers early in the shot clock, I really felt like it was an attempt to play the spread. Maybe everyone should stay away from Phoenix games.

These two teams ****ed me again. Not suprised.

Had the over 104.5 for 2nd half, and normally expected to win it after 64 were scored in the 3rd Q. Well, no. This time they decided to play a 31 point 4th Q, after that 32 points in last 1:53 of the game in LA two weeks ago.

Kobe seemed to stop playing, he has to score 50 plus every game to win.

cant say anything about the laker game, but the wizards totally bent me over today. freaking stay within 11 pts and i would have won 25k off of a 150 dollar bet (this is assuming GS stays within 10 of dallas). second time this year with washington too. i lost a 30k parlay when washington beat NY by one a few months back.

fuxking bettors, stop complaining. the fix's probably helped you just as much as they hurt you..get over it

I watched this game. Didn't look like a fix. At least not by the refs. From what I remember intentional fouling started very early.

If you are a +EV bettor this is not a true statement. Games that are fixed will hurt the +EV bettor in the long run in all cases.

actually fixes cannot balance out for two reasons:

    1. The people in on the fix win x dollars.

2a. The book balances its action to the best of its ability and other gamblers lose x dollars.

2b. The book sees the fix and gets on the bus and makes y dollars. The other gamblers lose x + y dollars.

There is 2c. the books get nailed but that still isn't positive ev for the other gamblers.

Fixed games cost you money unless you are in on them, end of story.
