This guy is really a great coach...very underated in the national media and could do a hell of job at a major university.

Gave USC all they could handle and came down to the last minute.

I love the attitude he has about scheduling and the belief his team can beat anyone. I don't blame LSU for scheduling Appalachin St instead of Fresno St. I can't stand those coaches and programs that insist on scheduling Division 2 schools when there is a quality team like Fresno willing to come to your place.

I think Fresno will be the second non-bcs school to make the BCS in the future.

pat hill is not afraid of any team at all in college football. he will take on anyone and everyone, just like he has done over the years. the guy knows how to win and, instills that into his players every week/year.

Teams like LSU probably think, "Why schedule another potential loss, when they play in the SEC". Thats giving them more chances to blow their championship dreams. Teams like Fresno need the LSU's, USC's, etc. Those teams dont need the Fresno State's.
