Default Whats your thoughts on 188bet.com?

(typo in title - they're 188bet com)
They seem to be fine from what I see and they've been online for quite a time. I have heard couple of good things about them including that they have very high max's.

Their real minus is that they're not rated by SBR.
I'd like some insight before I decide anything

(I know that there's been couple of threads about this bookie, but there hasn't been any singnificant insight given in them and I also guess that after Pointbet's disaster it pays off to be double cautios ask/check it twice with asian books)

Thanks!

The online wire has a decent article about asian bookies after the pointbet disaster. Check it out. I think they rate them 3/10. Personally I would give them 5 or 6 out of 10, don't like the withdrawals process myself, they are never keen to pay. Small balance only.

After what happened with Pointbet I withdrew my money from 188bet and I will never be using an Asian bookie again.

This comes from The Online Wire: "According to recent reports 188Bet had dealings with failed Pointbet.com."

After what is happening to BetUS, Betcascade and others... will you ever use an US bookie again?

A lot of books have "dealings" with others. It can be hosting, software or betting off action and doesn't necesarily mean anything.

It's tough to get a handle on these books that often don't have someone who speaks English on staff. One thing players can do is look at at the laws where the book is based. After Game2Bet/AsianOdds went down, I recall the Asian capper forums listing books that moved to more tolerant locations.

The online wire knows crap about Asian books. 188bet is flooded with Hong Kong cash right now that the euro soccer season is ending, every 2 months or so they were 2x their max limits, at that rate their take equals whatever Pointbet was doing at their high you have to figure.

Shit might happen, as in anything, but right now they are as strong as there can be. Under the Phillippines banner (same as Mansion88, SBO) they have achieve some legitimacy, something Pointbet never had. And they have something else Pointbet never had, that's blessing from the motherland.
