Default Moneybookers delays deposits on purpose

I found recently that Moneybookers set 1000 GBP limit to every account. The limit applies to account balance. So if you try to make a deposit or transfer funds from some bookmaker and that would exceed the limit, then the transfer would be suspended until you accept some kind of agreement.

Accepting agreement means checking appropriate box in your settings. Unfortunatly even after accepting that, your pending transfer won't be added to your account immediately.

I've been waiting about a week and still I can't see my money. I know other users who wait for their transfers over two weeks. Moneybookers support doesn't respond, as well as their phone lines. Only God knows how long would it take.

    So... be warned.

After reading your message I logged into my Moneybookers account and checked my limits.

At the moment I can upload $5000 and withdraw up to $30000 per 90 days.

    PS: I'm in Canada.

I would love to do just that (deposit 5k & withdraw 30k).

They do this for security reasons. If you verify the account, they will give you a much higher transaction limit.

No, you don't understand. My accout is fully verified and my transaction limit is pretty high.

That limit is account balance limit and it is related to FSCS rules. To be able to have account balance higher than 1000 GBP I am required to make an acknowledge of the fact that FSCS rules don't apply to Moneybookers. Please check your accounts to see new, apropriate checkbox.

And the problem is that Moneybookers delays payments even after checking that checkbox way too long.

Well, maybe it's restricted to selected countries. I'm Polish and the others who experienced this problem are Polish too.
