Default How did you come up with your poster name?

I signed up for yahoo and wanted raiders7. That was taken so I added the year at that time 2001 to come up with Raiders72001 for my posting name in all the forums.

I'd like to know why Quarm, which is slang for homosexual, uses Quarm for his name. What about the rest of you guys?

Years and years ago I was gonna take picante as a joke thinking I am so damn hot. I wish. It was taken so I added an L and now thousands of people know me as picantel. The problem is I have to type picanteL because they always think the l is a 1 and asked me why my email bounced back. Now that I think about it I shoulda just made a picante1 and been done with it.

Do you mind if I ask where you are from. I know that's Spanish for hot. It may even be in Italian which I don't speak.

Used to live in Peoria. Been up to chicago many times(and to a few horse tracks too of course). Now I live about 30 minutes from northfield park and been there oh uhh a few hundred times at least. I need a life. Off to bed. Got a couple of possible longshots tomorrow. A quick $20 would not hurt anyone cause if you cannot afford a quick blow on that amount you got problems with gambling. Posted one in my sat horsie thread and will post the other tomorrow.

Well I was a lurker on the forums for awhile, mainly OGD. So I was a "onlooker" per say.

So I came up with that. Added the cool "o's" to look like eyes. So there we have it.

Oh yeah, also posted some important stuff in that forum called....oh what do you call it....HIP?

Slacker00.

This hipster chick at work used to always call me "slacker". I'm not real keen on picking username on these boards, so "slacker" seemed as good as anything else. I added the double zeros because slacker was taken when I first started using that handle. "00" seemed like a good number to slap on the end. I'd like to figure out another handle, because slacker00 makes me feel like a deadbeat. But, I'm too much of a slacker to think of a different handle.

Picking a cool screen name is a pain in the ass. I got drunk one night and thought Illusion sounded cool.

Yossarian seemed like it would get a lot of "WTFs" so I took this one.

March of 2002 I posted at my first sports betting forum, The RX. Was following the Lakers pretty close that year, and I didn't think I would be stuck with this name three years later, so I just used lakerfan. Only forum I posted in before that time was a home theater forum, but I can't even remember what name I used.

If you're seriously worried about who is homosexual, instead of this kind of whiny, grade-school finger-pointing, it would be a lot sharper to focus directly on guys who openly admit to performing sex on men - like this guy:

And of course if you want to be really sharp, you'd keep an eye open for other guys who look like they're angling for that same treatment. They may not come right out and say what they want but just keep a sharp eye out for

guys just a little too desperate to please Basement Sex Guy

picantel, I also live in Ohio (Northwest, Seneca county), and I thought your name was pronounced "pick and tell".

My username is obviously my first name, followed by two random numbers that I add without thinking because Shawn is always taken in forums.

No rocket science here.

I am a man and I like to bet so an obvious nickname would be Betman.

It also rhymes with Batman, the silver screen hero who goes after the bad guys. The only difference is that I go after bookies

My nickname is Senator because everyone thinks I should run for public office someday in Wisconsin. 7 is my favorite number and my sports number throughout high school.
