Default Just came into some money -- What would you do?

Hey guys. Fairly new here. I need some advice on how to flip this cash. Today, I just suddenly came into $1000 and I'm seriously considering trying to flip it on the sportsbooks.

I'm aware of the risk associated with doing this, so please, don't bother making any posts about warnings. What I would like is some advice, keeping in mind that I WILL be using this money for gambling.

Are there any proven handicappers making you money right now? If so, who?

If I do happen to follow a certain handicapper, who should my unit structure be? Should 1 unit be equal to $100, $50, $25, etc?

Throw some ideas my way guys, I really want to give this a shot.

I don't throw darts at a board. I bet on sure things. Read Sun-tzu, The Art of War. Every battle is won before it is ever fought.

Jets cover tonight.

You can't make shit with $1,000. You would have to bet $10 a game. Go do something productive.

Bet small with a small bankroll... Build your dollars and if an online account make the rollover bonus your first form of winning...GL...

when people say they just came into some money it's usually at least $1 million. and usually from a family member's will.

1st bet, always bet 100% of your bankroll. That way, it only hurts once. If you win you are on top of the world. Also, if you do win cash out 1000, and bet 1% on every bet in the future.

Listen dude, you don't have to insult me. To tell me to go do something productive is pretty asinine. I have no problem making $10 bets. I'm not trying to make tens of thousands of dollars here. And if you're saying you can't make shit betting with $1000, then either you have no patience, or you just make horrible bets. I've turned $60 into $280 in less than a week. I understand that it's only a fraction of what you guys reel in daily, but I want you to understand my goals here.

Take info from these people and come up with your own picks and you should be good. Never follow blindly. You should get a good idea of who is "legit" by the posts in each of these people's threads and by the number of views. Look at the response to these people like you were reviewing something.

Start out betting 2%-5% of your bankroll. Get a feel for how you are doing and adjust your betting strategies off of the number of games you play.

You will most likely find the people below will not use the words "lock" or "game of the year" to get attention

Harry Lloyd Totals package is good in college football
Cackasmaloy's "i'm on to something" college footballis a good thread if you follow point movements
Wal has good info on games College football
MCBASEBALL10 doesn't just throw games out there, usually a reason behind selections
LTProfits is another good one to follow if you like line movement

Riggs in NFL
PIMIKE comes up with good plays

Not sure on basketball as I have not started looking at basketball plays yet this year..

I would say bet $20 per game, straight plays only and only like 5 bets per week.

I would take it slow and bet more underdogs than Favs.

Bet 20 bux a game. Thats 2% of your roll which is fine. Just dont many games a night. Find 1-3 plays a night and go on them. And do as much research as you can. Good luck bud. the people who say you cant do it are the people who are stuck money..
