Default Executioner Bernard Hopkins fight live +1100 dog on Versus tonight

Light Heavyweight 12 rounds - Liacouras Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - VersusWed 12/2
    101 Enrique Ornelas
    +1100 8:45PM
    102 Bernard Hopkins -2000
The 29 year old Ornelas is one tuff Mexican with decent talent..solid punch and Mexican heart ( In soccer you blow on a Mexican and he will fall down..in boxing you gotta kill him to knock him down)

I put 5 bucks on Ornelas for a 60 dollar comeback and a reason to watch the fight..If Bernard has been bsing lately..Ornelas can beat him

Sucks for B-Hop that he has nowhere to go after this fight now that Roy Jones lost.

    Thanks for the info Shooter.
Bet on Pavlik when he fought Bernard and got screwed.
Probably will put a little on Ornelas too.

Remember this fight? Kostya Tszyu put Zab on his ass. Ref called the fight and Zab attacked ref.

    Rule #1 in Boxing betting...

    never ever bet against B-Hop..

but in this case...the odds are just too damn tempting.

Hate to break it to you guys, but theres no way your guy wins unless he stops hopkins in that case you should be getting better odds then +1100 because thats a real longshot. This fight is in Philly good luck getting a dec in Hopkins hometown ... I can tell you right now by looking at his boxrec hes in trouble. Hopkins will probably stop him even at this advanced age. Basically they are bringing in a mexican style fighter slow, machismo, not much head movement etc. Even this guys camp knows what this is. Taking a fight in philly against B-hop

Don't get me wrong, I've seen worse bets... and I'm certainly not laying a cent on a 44yo -2000 fave. But you can make the case that Hopkins has never really lost a fight. He was the only guy to give a good fight to a prime Roy Jones and he was on the bad end of dubious decisions against Taylor (x2) and Calzaghe.

Underrated living legend if there ever was one.

Guys..every once in a blue moon..we see an athlete age over night..although 29 years old..an argument can be made Ornelas is in the best shape of his career

I just put another 3 bucks on Ornelas to win 42

maybe tonight is one of those nights

I doubt it..like someone said its in Philly too..but ya never know

I did not see an over under on this match..so 8 bucks just to enjoy the fight is peanuts..If I win its 100 and I dance with the sugar plum fairy

what else can I watch tonight?

    4 ncaabb games..1 nba and a hockey

kids will watch rudolph the red nosed reindeer on cbs at 8 o clock

I'm staying away from the Hopkins fight... I don't feel confident betting on a guy B-Hop's age as that large of a favorite... I also don't think 15:1 is enough to justify a bet on Ornelas. However...

I bet big on the undercard. I'm expecting Danny Garcia to turn Enrique Colon inside-out. I bet him to win at -500, and hit the U 7 1/2 big at -160.

I don't think I'm the only one who hammered Bodog at those prices because they closed the line.
