Yeah, I've seen them a few times over the years myself. And I really liked Ness' first solo album - Cheating at Solitaire. It's all covers, but he just kills them. This cover of Dylan's "Don't Think Twice" is the best Dylan cover I've ever heard. Doesn't even sound like the same song. He blows the original away....

    Mike Ness ......

Yeah that John Lee Hooker track is some real soul searching stuff. He was the youngest of 11 children. That had to be a real bitch.

    Bubble gum pop crap IMO.

They are like Coldplay in that they have one song in 12 different versions on every album.

I enjoy listening to them, but I sure as hell wouldn't call them one of the greatest bands.

you dug up your own thread about thinking that one of the most manufactured, limp-dicked bands in history is one of the greatest. Awesome. (I do like Never Again, though, mainly because I came from a physically abusive household and, yeah, fukk that guy...)

How can you not love these incredible lyrics...

    Look at this photograph
Everytime I do it makes me laugh
How did our eyes get so red
And what the hell is on Joey's head

Truly the Beatles of our time.
