You can put money in with a DC from your bank with no fees, you can send money from bookmakers to MB with no fees and transfer money back to your bookmakers with no fees.If you use a CC then they will charge you,how much i don`t know as i don`t use that method.I can currently put 2K in with my DC in a 90 day period, but i can transfer in an unlimited amount from the bookmakers i use.I can transfer from MB to bookmakers around 21K in a rolling 90 day period.Hope this helps.

    Hey guys,

I opened a moneybookers account and I am trying to figure it out. To raise my limit, I tried to send a $10US wire so that my limit would be incresed to $5000. The bank told me that if they could do it, it would cost $35-50 to send $10 and they couldn't do it with the information I gave them that was provided on the Moneybookers website.

This may be totally retarded but..... I can't find any email address for them, the phone numbers don't work. The messaging center just sends me in circles. Does anyone have any contact info that works for them? By the way, I am Canadian.

    Thanks,
    Cheezy

    Hey Cheezy!

I am also Canadian. I went to CIBC and they were somewhat confused by the instructions but they managed to send the wire. It appears that there is no specific account that the money is being sent to, it seems that it is being sent to a branch where Moneybookers comes and picks it up by depositing it into their specific account. That's just my guess.

The cost is a little steep, that's why I spent a little more ($200) as a trial. Now that I know it works, I might send bigger amounts.

Regarding the phone number, it works, you just have to call between the times given on their website. Note that those times are England times.

ALso, there is no email, but you can contact them via the Message center. Once you send them a message, they reply by sending an email. They are somewhat slow, I usually get a reply the next day.

    Hope I could help,

    Hey Pedro,

Thanks for the great info!! How much did the $200 wire cost you to send and do you know if that is a flat rate regardless of the amount sent?

    Thanks,

    Hey Cheezy!

It cost me $37 but I do think it is somewhat of a flat rate.

I remember wiring $1200 on an unrelated matter a few years ago and it was something like $30 back then so I do think the fee is indeed somewhat flat. I guess it could rise a little once you send higher amounts (10K+) but probably not by much.

That's pretty much my educated guess.
