Default Where does Tebow go in the NFL draft?

Its a bunker year for monster defensive linemen. Just cant see risking lets say a top 10 pick on a "project". But by the 12th pick or so he has to be considered imo.

If he goes to Jacksonville, it will save the franchise.

Browns are probably dumb enough to draft him #1 overall even though he lacks the arm to be an NFL QB.

He'll be a bust no matter where he goes.

ummm....no it won't. Not if you don't think he's a franchise QB and I don't think there are many people who see him as a franchise QB...(Dont get me wrong...he's a helluva college QB. One of the best ever. No question about it...)

    Back-up QB's, Wildcat QB's, and H-Backs do not a franchise save...

McCoy has never even taken a snap under center. He'll be a clipboard holder like Chase McDaniel.

3rd round or worse. Anyone remember Eric Crouch?

He will be drafted somewhere in the 1st round.

I dont think he makes it past the Patriots.

Tebow doesnt take snaps under center, is not a good passer (both accuracy and strength), and runs a flex option offense. If he wasnt so hyped he wouldnt be taken in the top 3 rounds. He will not be an every down QB, he doesnt have the skills to be a prototypical QB and if they use him like he is used in college he will take a beating. That being said some owner will pressure his team into reaching way too early for him.

I think we have all seen this before. We discuss why a qb can t do well in the NFL etc. etc. and then suddenly they get there surprise people with some results. Who honestly thought flacco would do so well in the NFL? Not to mention Vince Young has done pretty well recently to. If tebow does go to the right coach and team, i m sure he can put up some good results.

I'd be shocked of he were taken in the 1st round, unless the Raiders pick him

Tough to say... coming from a spread option offense really does a number on a guy's draft stock nowadays. Alex Smith was pretty much a worse prospect than Tebow in every single aspect yet went #1 overall... 5 years later and Tebow, coming from the same offense, will be lucky to go in the first round period. VY has been looking solid and Alex has been alright so maybe that helps Tebow's stock some... between 15-20 at the earliest to late 2nd at the latest.

Claussen a better QB That guy will be out of the league in 4 years. He will be lucky to be a 3rd stringer. That guy can't win in college, what do you think he will amount to in the Pro's?

  25. #25

    Default

there is no way he is going 1st round. Think troy smith; he was drafted in what 4th? round. This will be the same for tebow. I wouldn't be surprised if Miami or jacksonville picks him up early in the 3rd though.

i think tebow will wreck havoc in the NFL! God's wrath will be epic for all that doubt him.

Last, Mr. Irrelevant. 2 yard shuffle passes followed by 50 yard receiver runs do not make an NFL QB.

  29. #29

    Default

Tebow is not a 1st round pick, think Jacksonville would take him in the 2nd round just to sell tickets. 2nd round is the earliest he should be drafted.

To do what, JJ??? Hold a clipboard? Run a few plays a game at wildcat QB??? Play H-back???

Yeah, they may come back for a game or two but the reality of the situation is that Jacksonville is a COLLEGE football town, not a pro football town. And Tim Tebow isn't going to change that...

As a Redskins fan, I don't see us taking him. I think Snyder will be too scared to piss of any more fans by taking a quarterback that will never be a good NFL quarterback. I think he'll go to Jacksonville though.
