Default Heritage Sports - can anyone shed light on this policy?

    From their payout regulations:

Heritage Sports pays for Neteller withdrawals, though we reserve the right to charge up to 5% in certain special situations.

I asked them on the phone to explain this and all they would say was players deemed to be professional would be charged this rather hefty commission. They wouldn't define it beyond that. It seem like it is strictly their judgement call.

I'm wondering if anyone has any recent personal experience with Neteller payouts from Heritage.

That's crap...rules need to be clear and defined. That is not a fair rule simply because no one knows if they will be charged or not.

We actually posted somewhat of a warning about that at the end of 2003. Heritage has told me that only one player has ever been charged that fee. If so, it is probably not cost effective to even mention it. I will speak to heritage about removing the 5% threat.

This is the one thing that hurts Heritage as it shows a sign of cheapness

    Otherwise a good book

Is Bill Dozer going to be running SBR radio adds this year during football season??? I heard them last year and they where great. Especially the one where not only did they give the name of several A-list books but also scam alerts. Thanks

Heritage doesn't want to book talent and without coming out and saying that they put it in vieled ways so that the people they don't want know in advance they're not wanted.

Hmmm. I have to say I'm skeptical of that. I was charged it before (about a year ago, I'd guess???). It's hard for me to believe I'm the only guy ever.

I know I'm special but am I really that special????

I think the smart thing for new players to do is fund their account using **. Don't let heritage know you have a neteller account. That way they can't slap you with the 5% sharp tax.

For the life of me, I can't understand why they are suddenly advertising at MW again. They clearly don't want the average forum player. How many true sqaures do they think they will get from mw.

If there is one thing a solid book should have is clearly defined rules of play, no grey area BS.

    What happened to Clip Joint?

Have not seen this guy around lately...

Now there is a blast from the past. The carefree early days of the forum discussing the old Heritage sharp tax. It makes me weepy with nostalgia.

I don't know what happened to CJ. He was at this forum right at the start - I remember his (very successful) pre-season NFL system that he was tracking that first August - but he kind of faded away here. I think he was always more of an RXer anyway.

Heritage no longer offers Neteller, or any other e-wallet, its either M/G W/U or cheque.

Clip Joint was identified as Ryan Hill, a scam owner of DimePlayer.

I only play at Heritage and never had a payout issue. Top notch service in my opinion. I use to play other places but no need to anymore.

Tried to make my first withdrawal today for $1K, called in at 8:30 AM (Pacific) and they told me to call back after 4PM (Pacific) for the ** payout info.

When I called for the payout details I was told it wouldn't be available today (Tues) and to call back Wed.

I think I'm done with Heritage, only because they don't offer Moneybookers.

Now that NHL is getting close I've decided to use only these books for the season:

    Pinnacle
    Canbet
    Centrebet
    Matchbook

I have never had any kind of payout problems with them. I have no clue what happened, I just go by my personal experiences and they way I have been treated by them.

Well, when I called first thing in the morning they said my payout was not guaranteed for today.

This is an annoyance, I know I'll get paid tomorrow but considering it was my first request I wasn't impressed.

I am somewhat spoiled by Pinnacle and their 15 minute Moneybooker payouts. Heritage cannot compete, nor can most other offshore books.

    Pinnacle truly is great.

Never had any problems with Heritage. Always have received ** payout same day as long as called in early. also wire usually takes 2 days.

consistantly one of my top 2 outs due to speed of payouts.

What a shady rule. To me, that vague excuse of a rule is a statement that they will screw you over if you try to withdraw a considerable amount.

Okay just to re-clarify. This topic was started in August 2005. It was a shady rule but to the best of my knowledge it is off the books.

Heritage remains an odd book in some ways though. For a long time they weren't open to the public; they only took players by invitation.

Anyone know if that is still the case?

I had a problem with them today and I am not happy. I was the one that always would advocate for them. I am now seeing what other posters have probably experienced with them.

You need a referral to open an account, they do not accept new signups without one.

They paid me the other day, but it was not smooth, nor fast.
I'd like them more if they offered moneybookers.

Being paid has always been smooth. Some of their customer service people have attitude problems and other issues.
