Default This site is a lifesaver

I would just like to thank the moderators and the creators because this site is such a huge blessing for the sports gambler. There are so many ways to get ripped off, if it wasnt for this site it would be impossible to keep up to date. I can really tell the books respect this site too, they know if they mess up they will not get any business from real players because of this site. Thank you, and if anyone else agrees say it.

Thanks for the kind words CWS.

SBR works hard to be one of, if not, the best.
Also have a good group of posters that help on a daily basis.

Its good to have you here. Get your friends here if they don't yet know about us.

The moderators are top notch but the ownership and posters are weak.

Doug- Would you agree that there are only 5 good posters or less and that ownership is very shady?

not really, there are more than 5 good posters.

I don't know SBR John that well, so I'd have to compare his shadiness with owners of other forums:

    Roberto-TOW
    Marty-RX
    Shrink-EOG

I don't think he is the shadiest of the bunch ! If anything the least shady.

That's a strong list. In order:

    1. Marty
    2. Roberto
    3. Shrink

I met Shrink once and talked to him on the phone once.

I've met Roberto in Vegas and Chicago and have talked to him many times.

Roberto and Shrink are great, sociable and lots of fun to be around in person. The only problem is that business is business and we all play by different rules

I've met all but Shrink, talked to him on phone once. I like Roberto a lot, consider him a friend, he's helped me get paid before, but he also deserves some criticism for leading players into rookie books.

None are saints, but John can't be the worst when compared to his peers.

I don't know the guys behind other places like 911,MW,etc. The whole gambling thing is shady to start with. You have Americans living in San Jose running books that have almost convinced themselves it is perfectly legal, yet they live in CR.

Default Sports.com not paying money owed

Does anyone know why Sports.com keeps making excuses for paying money owed? They owe me thousands and keep saying to call back on Monday . . . . If you be there, stop for your owe good!

Doug- What's Marty like? I know he screwed the whole country of Denmark but that's all I know.

I only talked to him briefly, don't know anything about Denmark reference. I somehow have the notion he is Canadian. I spoke with him a few minutes at one of the RX bashes

I played one of those RX BJ hands last year ( for another poster). Marty was there putting up the funds, out of a paper bag.

No real opinion of him, just a guy that owns a forum, he didn't impress me in a particularly positive or negative fashion.

Marty owned a lot of online casinos. The Danes learned out how to beat the system by bonus whoring. He stole alot of money.
