JJ, Fed tanked the match so Murray would get eliminated.

I did not watch a single second of this match and many would think your statement is nonsense, for several reasons, 1 primarily being the 120k prize for winning the match, but I oddly agree with you. Really, what is 120k to Feds in comparison to having his biggest competition out of the way and giving him more confidence to win the entire championship.

Id back del potro over federer on almost any surface anywhere in the world after that US open win and at +250 felt as though it was almost an insult to del potro i thought.....You can see it in their respective games..federer's no longer the totally dominant alpha player he once was...What this tournament has taught me is that the new recruits have graduated (soderling, davydenko, del potro) and are ready to take their places in the upper echelon of world tennis...Feds can still challenge but unless he is 100% on top of his game then the new kids will no longer be the easybeats they once were......

Be aware that Soderling may have motives in losing to Davy. A loss to Davy ensures he plays Davy in the SF instead of potentially playing Djok (who MUST beat Nadal).

looks like Nadal-Djokovic are headed to a 1st set tiebreak, this could hurt Djokovic a lot if he loses it.
