Default Sportsbook has clearly turned out to be a scam

And heres why. If you go to the site there is nothing mentioned about the current withdrawal problem. You would think an honest company would mention something so important. And when you go to the banking screen you still have the option to purchase V chips. They even have the purchase button blinking red saying pick me pick me lol. Sportsbook is done.

Nice post...but clearly not needed. Your just going to make more people freak out even more. Keep what hope there is alive for people who Sportsbook.com say will be getting their wires the first and middle of next week. I talked to a so called manager yesterday and they said the first wires went out Monday and that people will start seeing their wires next week. Guess by Wednesday we will all know if they were telling the truth or not. If they weren't then I can bet you their CC processor will be getting slammed with charge backs left and right. I can promise you I will one of them as well.

As far as companies taking your payment and not yet providing the product happens with big and legitament companies as well... You go along with it because it's differant in your mind... A company is out of stock on a product and still takes orders giving you an estimated time.. They are off by months sometimes... I have been looking for Mark Curry doing stand up on HBO's One Night Stand which they have released but the one with Mark Curry was supposed to be released 12-2005 and orders by EVERYONE offering it were/ARE being taken and guess what when Jan. 2006 came around they post poned the release until 12-2006.. This Dec. did it come out... NOOO and they post poned the date AGAIN til the end of THIS year... oh and are still taking payments for orders... WTF!!! I am sure I can give you a million examples of legit companies doing the same sh*t.... I agree with the posts that it's obvious sportsbook is NOT going anywhere based on their answering all emails and calls by people and that has to take a WHOLE STAFF to do JUST THAT... With all the people calling in there is NO WAY those CS guys can have time for anything else so why would they bother...?

mmhhhh u don't know much about how the online gaming business work. what do you think will happen if some sites mention something about withdraw problems? then they are done.

sportsbook is working on the problem and most players will be paid
by the end of next week.

start to blame your government for the payment problems.

The Idiot who cant handle his own worry and posts a stupid unifnormed posts, that just works other people up. Real smrt moron.

You have no idea what is going on. I do not think or know we will get paid whatsoever, but you do not know anything.

It is definitely not a scam. They dont post that they are having delays on withdrawals, becaus ethen they woudl lose all their business and no one would get paid.

That is not good business either. They are trying to weather a serious storm and make it out of th esituation.

This will be just like the Neteller threads... Until that announcement that Neteller is going to settle came out there was concerns and the comments poured in on Neteller... After that came out you hardly hear about it..

Right and in the last day it has realllly cooled down.. I mean a neteller related thread for two weeks seemed like it was at the top of the newest posts... Now that people know what's going on I doubt you hear much about it for a couple months...

Why dont you try using the english language next time and quit using an internet translator. If I was a certified bank and my customers couldnt withdraw money I think that would be mentioned on every foot of the building or every inch of the website. You dont lose business by being honest. In fact, youre more likely to keep business. Hell, they could send out emails to all the people who play sportsbook and mention the problem but nope.

If you have a withdrawal waiting with sportsbook.com, you do not want them to post the delay unless you are a complete moron.

If they post it, they will surely get 0 deposits. Thi smeans a book in good financial standing, starts to lose revenue, lose market chare, and will soon collapse, and then, take everyones withdrawals that they were going to try and send out, until an IDIOT like you comes along and messes everything up.

IF you can not understand thi svery simple principle, as to why they can not post teh delays, then there is nothing more than can be said, and you are just a lost cause.

It is not in any one waiting for their withdrawals best interests for sportsbook.com to post the delays. They did send an email saying "blah blah blah" about the delay. If you didnt receive it, it is becaus eyou do not have them as a mail recipient and it was considered junk mail. The email updated everyone waiting, but they just couldnt stick with the timeframe to get back on track.

Wake up, and dont start a thread you know nothing about.

WSEX and Cris both posted notes on their website a few weeks ago when they were having problems.

Personally, I think you all get paid. But, I hope you stop playing a D+ rated books.

I will start a thread on whatever I want chief. The moron was the originator of this post. According to you these books work like the US's social security institution. They are only able to pay the one's who withdrew beforehand from the deposits of people depositing later on . Only a retarded brain could comprehend such a thought

And one more thing. Maybe I shouldnt have said scam. We shall see. However when I put 2+2 together Im not getting 4 with them. Either they still have the website up and are taking calls to get more deposits and then run or they are really trying to work this out. Like I said, if they have to pay with what people are depositing later on then they arent financially stable anyways. So the fact they arent telling people about the withdrawal problems is a major blow to their reputation.

  16. #16

Well, maybe with your great math of 2+2, you could figure out, that they are not paying people with funds they are getting now.

But if a company is still paying for tech support, and for staff, and to maintain their site, but at the same time are bringing in no revenue, that is called a "LOSS".

If you have continued losses, you go under. They are financially stable now, but if they get no deposits, but are still spending money, they will lose money and not be able to pay, when they were able to in the first.

I iwll no longer respons to your very ignorant posts, as I am now assuming you are not older than 17. You are just causing problems, you proivde no information to this forum.

Thi sis not the place for irrational idiots to yell stuff they do not know. If you would liek to bring "Information" to this chat, please do so.

How little people remember.. Cascade posted delays on their site and I bet their deposits went down and they could take advantage of March Maddness players... So you ask why they don't post it..? Well look what happened to Cascade which by the way has a sister book linked to it where you play for points instead of money... When you want to cash out you transfer it from their other site (playfast.com) back to cascade which will convert the points BACK into currency.. This might catch on...

By the way the only reason I started this thread is because of what I read earlier today on a different website that has nothing to do with gambling. Let me copy and paste it for you.
"To read up on all the sites that are doing this go to sbrforums.com. I had 1,200 dollars in sportsbook.com and all of a sudden I couldnt get a withdraw. They have been doing this to everybody I talk to on the net since late february. Im surprised this hasnt made national news yet. Well we knew we were messing with fire gambling at unregulated online sites"

"That's funny because out of the blue last weekend before the March Madness games started, I get a call from Carlos a rep from Sportsbook.com asking me why I'm not putting more money into my account. Asking me would I like to register my CC over the phone to deposit more into my account. Good thing I withdrew a few weeks ago, and now only have $6 in there."

Sportsbook.com has ALWAYS been trouble going back years ago. They hide behind this claim that they are traded on the stockexchange etc etc etc. Always been an F- book in my opinion. BetMania will soon give them a run for their money. Just to proove a point, I called BetMania today, pretending to be a potential new client. Asked the usual question to customer service. And was given a "friendly guarantee" that they are processing same day ** payouts. What a bunh of liars

Default Hopefully getting money from Sports.com

After 1 month of hearing lies, I was finally able to request a withdrawal of $5,300. I was told the check would be sent FedEx within 7 to 10 days. It would be nice but I'm not very hopeful & don't plan on spending any money before I receive my check. I will keep everyone posted. It seams like all of a sudden people are saying their checks are in the mail or on the way to the bank. If I do not receive a check within 2 weeks, I will try the CC attempt and see what happens. I hope everyone reads these alerts.

Good thread wish it could be more positive but thats not in the cards.

Sportsbook.com is not a scam imo. They are, however, very lazy and they could care less about cs. That has been long proven even in the best of times.

When processing got tough you saw everyone scrambe to get it right. But not sportsbook.com. This is just a terribly lazy management team that has made a fortune on the fact they own the best URL, sportsbook.com. They will get around to paying eventually.

Even if they do pay ( I wouldn't be as optomistic as John) they have totally ruined their already below average reputation, and I can't see them surviving long.

I guess nobody got the flight #705 reference ?

FedEx Flight 705 was the scheduled flight of a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 on April 7, 1994 in which an attempted hijacking occurred. Auburn Calloway, a FedEx employee, was due to be fired for lying on his résumé about his previous flying experience with the United States Navy. He boarded the San José, California-bound aircraft, which was loaded with electronic equipment bound for Silicon Valley, intending to murder the flight crew with hammers, and then use the aircraft for a kamikaze attack on FedEx Headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. His reason for using hammers was so that the injuries inflicted would resemble those occurring in a plane crash — Calloway wanted to disguise the attack as an accident so that his family would benefit from his work's $2.5 million life insurance policy. As a last resort, he was also armed with a speargun, smuggled on board in a guitar case. Calloway attempted to disable the Cockpit Data Recorder to cover his tracks. Unbeknownst to Calloway, the 2 man flight crew that was supposed to fly that flight was replaced by a new 3 man crew, consisting of Pilot Dave Sanders, Co-Pilot James Tucker, and Flight Engineer Andy Peterson. Calloway, a former Navy pilot and a martial arts expert, decided to attack just minutes after take-off. He brutally wounded the flight crew with hammers, and fractured the skull of Co-Pilot James Tucker. A lengthy struggle ensued with the flight engineer and pilot. Co-Pilot James Tucker, also an ex-Navy pilot, managed to control the plane as the 3 men struggled in the cockpit.

By means of extreme aerial maneuvers the flight crew eventually succeeded in restraining Calloway, though all three crew members were critically injured and none would ever fly commercially again. Loaded with fuel and too heavy to land, Pilot Dave Sanders landed the jet safely at Memphis International Airport despite the dire circumstances. As the police gained access to the plane, by escape slide and ladder, the cockpit interior was covered with blood.

Auburn Calloway plead temporary insanity but was sentenced to life without parole on August 15, 1995 for attempted murder and attempted air piracy, which he is serving at the United States Penitentiary, Atwater federal prison in Atwater, California.

As of 2006, N306FE, the DC-10-30 involved, is still flying for FedEx.[1]

On May 26, 1994, the Airline Pilots Association awarded Pilot Dave Sanders, Co-Pilot James Tucker, and Flight Engineer Andy Peterson the Gold Medal award for heroism, the highest award a civilian pilot can receive. Because of their injuries, none of the crew has been certified as medically fit to fly commercially.

I don't remember it either, caught a TV special about it on National Geographic channel.

I guess since it wasn't a passenger flight, nobody killed, landed safely, and a good while ago, it is forgotten.

    TV show worth watching.

Shockingly shams was sticking up for them than as far as in many other threads, looks like somebody has a personal relationship with sportsbook.com.
