    Sportingbet Plc announces resolution in Lousiana District Attorney case
    Sportingbet is pleased to report that it has reached an amicable resolution with the St Landry District Attorney in the State of Louisiana. All related warrants issued by the Louisiana State Police have been cancelled with immediate effect. Both Sportingbet and the St Landry District Attorney now consider the matter closed.

    This seemed to be the weakest case they tried to prosecute. Even the judge where Dicks was held in NYC said no laws were broken.

    The fine seems to be unofficial info since it wasn't on the press alerts. Reports suggest that since they couldn't get Dicks in Louisiana they lost the case. A fine saves some face and court costs.

    I thought they may buy their way out of it. That was a smart decision by both parties I think.
