You should see more books get the "***************" back but only for deposits. The new systems will work differently but serve the same purpose.

    Why only deposits?

Because of what needs to be done on the receiver's end.

That makes sense... As someone said before it's not illegal by federal law for someone to bet but it is for the banking institutions to process transactions... They probably figured for deposits they can get by it but for them to send you money it would be harder for them and you to get by it...

It is very slow though, seven to fourteen business days.

That is the hold time and accounts are credited instantly, correct?

It is credited right away. 10-14 hold time and 4-7 out of your account. It is an ***************, with a number. It is not like the instant system they had before.

You just do it like they used to have it. Use your checking account.

I would think they will... They used to ask for them before...

Yeah, they do.. do you know of any sites that dont?

No, it does not require forms because if your deposit bounces, then your winnings are canceled. It is a no risk situation for Bodog. I am sure if you had some sort of signifigant win they would force you to verify, but they have fairly low caps on their bets, so I am assuming that it would not happen very often.

For ************. I never once had to use a form for a depsoit or withdrawal this fall before all this stuff happened. I just deposited without forms. That is why you can only deposit 500 US dollars. If you would like to place a large bet I am sure that you would need forms.

Ya, you may be right. Unless you use a different method, like courier or **.

If the request is received before 5:00 p.m. EST, processing will begin the same day. If the request is received after that time, processing will begin the next day. Payouts are processed each day on a first come, first served basis and can take as little as 24 hours to process. Additionally:

Your payout request can't be processed until we receive the funds from all pending deposits (which can be four to seven business days after you make a deposit).
You can submit only one payment request at a time. If you want to request another payout, cancel the one that is pending.
Ensure that your address and all other account information is correct before making a payout request.
You may be required to submit additional information for account verification.
Bodog Poker, Casino, Sportsbook and Racebook reserves the right to levy a handling fee for payouts less than $20.
You may be charged a fee if you deposit money into your Bodog account and then withdraw it without placing any bets first. This fee will be limited to the actual costs of processing the transactions.

It says that if you wish to complete a payout with an account that has not succesfully deposited, then you have to submit a form:

Additionally, you will be requested to submit information to verify your banking information prior to receiving your payout

    Or if:

You wish to change your currently registered bank account (documentation will be required for both your current and new bank accounts).
You wish to receive a payout by Instant Check, but have not yet made a successful Instant Check deposit.
The Security Department has requested you to submit it.

You must submit a Bank Account Verification Form if:

You want to change your currently registered bank account (documentation will be required for both your current and your new bank accounts).
You want to receive a payout by Instant Check but have not yet made a successful Instant Check deposit.
The Security Department has requested that you submit it.

either way you can't get *************** withdraws according to Bill.

Right, it's a more involved system that takes longer to clear. Payouts will be in a physical form such as Check and **. It's back to paper money.

it would be cool (even if it's deposit only) to have echecks around consistantly by next football season...

It will be interesting to see who's next to offer this method of deposit.

Does Bodog offer overnight MLB lines for the regular season?
