Going to Sweet 16 @alamodome
Anyone else going? If you live in texas and can get off it should be well worth the trip. Dont have good seats but the had promotion upper deck seats to Thursday and saturdays games for only $115 cant really beat that. 3 good games for only 115 bucks! Should be alot of fun.

Wouldnt miss this for anything. Having a majorty Ag crowd will make up for having to go on the road as a 3 seed and play louisville in there own back yard.
Pete- I know a lot of Ags are getting tickets through Tenn and OSU atheltic departments..........theese are lower deck seats and at very reasonable prices. Atleast thats what I heard.
I'm leaving to go there on Thursday. I don't share your enthusiasm for having Aggies there - most of them (no offense to you) are idiots.

No offense taken Eagle..we all have our thoughts on what an idiot is. For instance I classify someone who states that the majority of a group amounting to 50,000 current students and 500,000 living alumini as being "mostly idiots" as being a complete dumbass. But no offense to you in this case.
That was a good one. I'll just say I've lived in Texas for 20+ years and the majority of "sports fans" from both A&M and UT are borderline retarded when it comes to their behavior at games. Outside of those settings, many of them I'd let serve me fast food.

Those were soome great games the other day and should be another good one today. Funny story, me and my buddy are managers at a bar, so we rush downtown dont stop at any bars along the way figuring will take our seats and get a beer.
After atleast a mile walk to the dome we get in and sure enough my dumb ass forgot they dont serve beer during college games. That was a long 5 and half hours, but once A&M lost we got to move down to their student section, so that was nice. The ohio st game was so good, at the end when it looked like it might go into overtime we looked at each other and said were leaving to get drink if it goes.
Anyone else here get to go? Dont forget next year we get the final 4. I gotta find someway to get my hands on those tickets.

I went. Just got back a few hours ago. The final was anti-climatic after the Thursday nail biters. Best thing was watching the see of moron-clad Aggies flee the city. Their chants made watching that first game as painful as possible, but hey I think I was one of the few who won taking Memphis and the pts.

If you were a longhorn I could respect your opinion as just a rivalry but being as that you are making fun of both of the top schools in Texas you must be bitter that both of them turned your application down. "let them serve me fast food" um ok we will take our 1200 sat scores and do that for you buddy. Your profile says you work in radio brodcasting. If thats true then there is a great chance you work for an aggie (clear channel founded by Lowry Mays). At the very least you are currently reading from a web site moderated by one of us good ole fast food qualified types. In any case you need to get over the complex you developed when austin community college was theonly school that you could get in to.
Graduated from TCU. Work for a school in the A&M system. Lived in Austin. Never wanted to go to either school. I know both types of "fans" through experience and it's just my opinion. Lighten up.
