Default Early Tennis - Who you got?

Early tennis out of London folks. I am on Nadal at -150 and the over 23.5 games for 1/2 unit each.

    Lets gamble.

I don't bet tennis too much, but I went 1 unit on RAFAEL NADAL at -150.

All analysis seem to point towards Soderling saying he has the bigger serve, forehand, backhand, etc and will walk over Nadal. I can agree that Soderling does have the advantage of these shots over Nadal, but what a lot of people are overlooking is the intangibles. No matter how Nadal has played up to this point, he is still ranked #2 in the world. Some say his confidence is twindling, but that's what he wants you to think. Nadal is a big match player, much more so then Robin. Plus if Nadal can frustrate Robin early on and get a break, Soderling has the tendency to lose it mentally. Trust me, Nadal wants to win this thing, and that's all I need to back him.

Is Nadal really going to go down like this? 2 measley points in the 1st 3 games. WOW, wish I stayed away, this is unexpected.

I sure hope we get to see the fight we are all accustomed to and he eventually barries Soderling.

Last time I watched Robin play was against Karlovic. He held serve the whole match, but Ivo came very close to breaking multiple times. With this said, and Nadal being one of the best returners in tennis, I expect a few breaks.

I didn't turn it on until now. He get broken and broke back?

Opening set Soderling. Rafa looks ok though, still certainly doable.

Man, this isn't the Nadal I want my money on. Up 30-0 down 4-5 on serve, and let Robin break you, somethings wrong here. Please stay in this and come back, don't retire and fu(k me over, you've done that too many times before.

Do I have reason to remain confident??? In the past, I wouldn't even have broken a sweat, but I'm soaking wet. I can't watch the match, but looking at the numbers, looks like he's being dominated towards a straight set sweep.

You do. See your original post. Don't get me wrong we are behind, but he has the right attitude, wants it, and just had an impressive hold at love.

Also, this new coming in early on the 2nd serve is messing w/ Soderling now.

Ok good. Checking statistics doesn't tell you about his attitude. I'm glad that your saying he still looks positive on court, because the numbers are telling me otherwise. That makes me feel much better.

Oh yeah. Stats wise, he has more unforced, less winners and more double faults (maybe even as Soderling just had 2 this game)... But he looks hungry.

Dang, just as I check, Rafa down 0-30 on serve. Hopefully he pulls this one off, or it could be detrimental.

Yeah he is playing this game on defense... Weird. Catch that 0-15 point on replay though, that was a great point from both.

Nadal's held 4 times, and been broken 3. WOW, that's not your typical Rafa.

Dang...Nadal did all that work, and couldn't pull off the break. Uh-oh, I'm getting really nervous here guys.

  24. #24

It's still on serve... Look at it as he didn't do all that work, he made Soderling do all that work just to hold his serve Just trying to stay positive.

  27. #27

Extremely discouraging right now. Nadal seems to be getting almost every one of Soderling's service games to duece, but can't capitalize. Gotta hope Rafa keeps holding serve.

  28. #28

Yeah im getting there.... but if it goes to tiebreak Rafa is winning more points on Soderling's serve than the other way around...
