Default Square Book v. Sharp Book Trend

15-0 ATS for the month of Febuary 07.

When there is a nationally televvised game, such as on CBS or ESPN compare the lines when they are a full point off, play the sharper line.

Example. Florida is -1.5 at Pinnacle/Greek/Cris and -2.5 at SIA/BoDog. Sia and BoDog are the square books and Pinnacle/Greek and Cris are the sharp books. Follow the sharper book, Florida -1.5.

There must be 1 point difference in the closing line, so you basically have to be in front of your computer a few minutes prior to tip off to find out if its a play or not.

I actually do it the opposite way... if pinny. had a line at -3.5 and other have -4.5 I would take the dog because Pinny. is giving a cheaper price to the favorate for a reason... It's not as good as it used to be because I dont' think Pinnys. lines are as sharp as they used to be...

You may go 50-0 using lines like that.

"Follow the sharper book" by taking the dog at the other book. Is that what you mean to say?

Or are you trying to say "follow the sharper book" by accepting the sharper book's invitation to lay only 1.5 on the favorite?

Like I said it's not as accurate as it used to be but if I can put an arb. in at pinny. with a couple other books then I take the other books side NOT pinnys.. It's more accurate for halfs... It's not like it used to be though.. This is why I liked USC bc Pinny had 3.5 and others had 4.5... a full point is huge for a half...

Other way around bro.....Sorry but SIA and Bodog do not have sharper lines than Pinny/Greek/Cris.

    He didn't say they do:

He is saying that Pinny/Greek/Cris are sharp and have better lines for favourites than the square books of Sia and BoDog. When there is a 1 point difference between the sharp and the square books, take the favourite at the sharp book and you'll be 15-0 ATS. I think.

Whether his hypothesis is correct is a different story.

you are wrong Taco...he says that pinny/cris/greek are sharper true yet he is saying to play the "square" line. If Team A is -1.5 at the "sharp" books and team B is +2.5 at the "square" books then he should be playing the +2.5 not the -1.5. the -1.5 reflects money on the dog whereas the "sharp" books have adjusted their line to reflect the sharp/smart money the "square books" have not.

I think he is just not expressing what he means correctly. If not, then he is saying SIA/Bodog are sharper than Pinny/Cris/Greek

Yeah Taco you have it backwards... If Pinny. has it a point lower they are trying to get people to bet the fav. by giving them THE BEST DEAL and telling everyone who likes the dog to go elsewhere for a better price... ABrett has not been back to explain since his first post...

One point off pin in hoops when line is flat is break even or better. Lets see if that "clear" sentence clears up this thread.
