I think he is playing just for the sake of playing ... a half fit Beckham should not be on the pitch no matter how many people he brings to the game.

I like LA too ... but the Beckham circus should not be allowed to take the place of a fully fit team mate..

If you ask me its a spin story get everyone thinking Beckham is down and out, make the opponent underestimate him and think he's going to be the games cripple.

Beckham wouldn't play if it was a serious injury, he wouldn't risk being injured for months and missing the WC. He had a bruised ankle and a cold, this guy graduated from the Alex Ferguson school of mind games, he's seen his mentor play psychological games for most of his career so don't be surprised if he's up to something here.

I like LA Galaxy here, they have two top class players, one of the best and most experienced U.S managers and the Mls would like them to win as it would create more interest and media sensation.

SRBI, I'm not sold on the Over either, the teams won't be in a rush they have 120 minutes to get the job done and finals can be cagey games. La Galaxy have let in something like 1 goal in the playoffs, they are pretty solid in defense but RSL have looked shaky.

The artificial pitch won't help the bruised ankle ... I think he plays because he brings in the crowds ... the last few games he has not played with any kind of passion or determination .. I feel he is going through the motions ... he's already got his eyes on Milan ... I've got a small play on LA Galaxy for tonight ... but i can easily see this one go to extra time before we get a result .... the price on "to win outright" is not any kind of value though ....(1.62)

Best value might be 1.7575 to win @ 90 mins with the draw being a push. @ BetPhoenix.

he did it with the one of the dudes before him...guy was like 12/12 lifetime in mls penalties...and dude gets rejected by the keeper
