    Default Iverson to the NFL???

speaking of Lebron's capability to play in the NFL

what about Iverson? just kidding, obviously its too late now... but it makes you wonder how some great athletes would have done had they picked another sport earlier in retrospect.

Iverson once had 7 Int's in one game!!!

He actually might have an outside shot at still playing the QB position, too old to play anywhere else.

Always thought Shaq would make a good tight end. It'd be impossible to defend him on short passes.

he has no shot at playing now, he'd get killed even at college level at this stage of the game

The guy hasn't been on a football field since high school and all of a sudden he is going to play QB in the NFL, LMAO. R U kidding me? It would take him years to learn how to read defenses much less adjust to the speed of the defenses. This isn't high school ball now where he is so much better athletically. Obviously you don't know what goes into that position at that level. Not to mention, they would have to retool his whole throwing motion as it is totally unsound. WR would be the only possibility at his age. If he would have come out years ago then maybe DB as well as he had great quickness and good hips. I can tell by the film he would've never played QB. His own coach even said he could have been a punt returner or DB but never any mention of QB.

Too slow and too tall, would get sawed in half. Bad hips as well.

I think we can all agree that Manute Bol would have made big contributions on alot of nfl teams.....

Wow, didnt know he was that good. Imagine if he picked football, then we'd be talking about how well this football player could play basketball.

Also, Steve Nash is a great soccer player. Hes got incredible ball control.

Iverson's just a soft pussy. Jordan schooled him when Iverson was in his prime after Iverson ran his mouth. Iverson is just a me kind guy doesn't give a **** about anyone else...he'd be an excellent WR. Drama queen for sure.

Lebron can't handle NBA contact thats why the officials protect him what makes you think he can go across the middle in the NFL?

I hope the QB and coach on the other team that threw the 7 ints were kicked out of school and ran out of town...After 2 picks I am done throwing and for sure not throwing to that side of the field

This reminds me of the Rocky Balboa movie where Rock sees a video game simulation by ESPN where he gets knocked out and its all anyone can talk about. But in this one, it really doesn't mean anything. The Yahoo Sports sites and ESPN love to hype up non stories huh? Most of the talk is about trade rumors, rookies who won't do anything and what-ifs.

If he throws the football the way he passes the ball no pass will be completed.

top athletes at a young age can excell in just about all sports.
the difference comes when you move up a notch to D1 ball, suddenly everyone thats playing was a high school star.
and than its a whole nother level in the pros.
So you can look at all the high school footage ya want but it dont mean jack in higher level atheletics

These egomaniacs are ridiculous...none of these guys could cross over and do worth a damn.

They have all their posse who are on their payroll telling them how great they are and think they could do anything and love the press stroking their ego.

The only one ever successful was Bo right? And he was still young at the time and he actually had formative training and experience in both sports.

FWIW, observers have long argued that Iverson was the best QB in the history of VA high school football. I never saw him play but they say he was better than Mike Vick and Ronald Curry (Curry was POY and the #1 recruit in the nation...considered one of the best QB's in HS football history).

c'mon shooter, you know manute bol would dominate in the nfl

If I was starting an nfl franchise my first five rounds of picks would be manute bol, chuck nevitt, Shawn Bradley, ralph sampson, and Gheorge Muresan
