I was talking to a few friends of mine last night when I was at the pool hall. They told me that they were planning on calling in sick on Thursday and Friday for the first two days of the tourney, but they don't what what type of excuse they could use.


Whats the best excuse to use when calling in sick tomorrow?

That's just one of the many reasons it's great to be working for SBR since you don't need some bullsh¡t, lame-ass excuse for missing work this time of year. By coming into the office, I'll get to see more of the games than if I stayed home and had the Mrs making a list of things I could be doing around the house instead of stretching my big backside out on the couch.

1) My Ex-Lax has finally kicked in, and how! Been wearing a rut in the carpet back-&-forth to the sh¡tter all night.

2) I was exposed to anthrax yesterday and don't feel...click.

3) Hey boss, you remember me telling you about the voices in my head? Well, they told me that today is when I should be cleaning all of my guns.

4) My mother-in-law got arrested last night, and I've just got to go down and see her behind bars for a good laugh.

5) My polo ponies broke out of their stalls last night and I have to go round 'em up.

6) I've been diagnosed with attention deficit disorder and, hey, who ate the last banana, I wonder? Ah, so there's where that final piece to the jigsaw puzzle disappeared, oh, I'm sorry, what did you call me about?

Well no need for excuses for me on Thursday I already asked off of work and will be done with classes at 1:40, from there on its all college hoops with no distractions!!

I like going into the stall in the am and doing the dry heaves for about an hour before asking for the rest of the day off. Its good stomach exercise too. Better than sit-ups.

I couldn't think of anything good for Thursday, but for tomorrow, how about "I pounded all the dogs on Thursday, I've been throwing up all day and all night, I'm sorry i don't think I'll be able to make it in on Friday" - what do you think? That might really work.
