Default Do You Think Lebron Will Play In NFL??

He keeps hinting, now that would be unreal.

If Jordan can play baseball (which he sucked balls at)...The King can most def play Football

  4. #4

    Default

It is possible here because Micheal Jordan did that and played baseball.

  5. #5

Lebron would be the greatest TE to ever suit up, OR he could prob get 12-20 sacks a year coming off the edge

remember Jordan never played at a MLB level though, he just sucked it up hitting below .200 in the bush leagues.

sad thing is, he would be the best player on the Browns aside from Cribbs

if guys like Gates can make the transition, i'm sure one of the world's top athletes could do it

He carried himself like a King so he would not be able to withstand the punishment of pro football. I'd give him 6 games max.

seriously you have to ask yourself if Antonio Gates could go from playing ONLY Basketball at a small school, to playing All-pro level TE in the NFL without ever playing any college football....

why couldn't Lebron? is Gates that much more Athletic? is Lebron not big enough? Hell Lebron is only a little bit lighter, but give him a year in the weight room preparing for the nfl and he'd be 6'8 and 270-275 running a 4.5 40 with a 45 inch vert....

ask any nfl qb if they'd like that as a target

  17. #17

    Default

I don't see how he couldn't make it. His speed, strength, athleticism, determination...etc...Just has to make sure he does not get too bulk for basketball.

5-8 million a year to get your body banged up, versus 20 million a year just doing sprints and and high flying tricks in the air with a ball; I think I would go with the latter.

He could, but won't. Why would he give up a great NBA career to possibly get injured and make a lot less without the guaranteed contract in the NFL?

what would you have to base that on? So he caught alot of passes against high school DBs, big deal. Anybody that tall with decent athletic ability could. Saying he would be the greatest TE in history is absurd at best. I hate when people say this guy is the next Jordan or Montana or whatever when they haven't done the first thing yet. How about letting him prove it first.

I'd bet he can't run a true 4.5 right now at a lighter weight

Lebron was timed 4.4, so was Allen Iverson when he was younger.

There is a reason you don't see any 6'8" guys in the NFL. Gates is 6'4" or so and a hell of alot thicker. I don't think James could hold weight over the season. I don''t see him being able to block at TE and leverage at that height would be hard at DE.
